Rentmoney is getting ready to accumulate some Arcade Colony assets. My current plan is to purchase credits (using paypal) for individual assets found on the Arcade Colony marketplaces and to trade/swap for some SCRIPT to purchase Packs. Today we start that journey with stacking some SCRIPT Tokens. Looking at the SWAP.HIVE / SCRIPT marketplace on TribalDex I can see that the BUY orders are at 1.5 Hive per SCRIPT. For those who might not know, 1 SWAP.HIVE = 1 Hive Token. Put another way it costs roughly $0.17 USD per SCRIPT Token. Trading in the open market isn't the only way to bag some SCRIPT tokens. In a previous post titled; Arcade Colony: How to attain and utilize Script Tokens we went over the fact that one can convert their COLONY tokens to SCRIPT. Click the highlighted linked post for more details on how to do that. So if we aren't going to purchase directly from the open Trade market. If we aren't going to convert our COLONY to SCRIPT how are we going to get our hands on some? SWAPS: Tribaldex (Hive-Engine) offers SWAPS. In other words instantly trade one token for another. This market is separate from the Trade Market. It's good practice to check both the Trade Market and the SWAP market before making your purchase. The SWAP market is funded by the liquidity pools. Those who participate in liquidity pools usually share in the fees generated from those who use the SWAP feature. Providing liquidity to pools can be lucrative but be warned there is much risk to doing so. We urge you to do your research before jumping into any pool with your hard earned currencies. That being said lets take a look at the SWAP.HIVE / SCRIPT liquidity pool. If we take a look at the first image in this post we can see there are multiple pools to choose from that utilize SCRIPT as one of the pairs. These pools include SCRIPT:GLUSD, COLONY:SCRIPT, SWAP.HIVE:SCRIPT, DEC:SCRIPT. So as you can see there is no shortage of ways to attain the SCRIPT Token. The screenshot also shows how much Fees were earned in each pool. For example the SWAP.HIVE:SCRIPT liquidity providers earned a total of $439.09 USD in fees. Before we decide which pool to use today lets give some brief insights into the paired tokens and their origins. GLUSD is a token associated with Genesis League Sports. COLONY is the governance token for Arcade Colony. SWAP.HIVE (as we already went over) is valued at 1:1 with the Hive Token. DEC (Dark Energy Crystals) is the in-game currency for the Splinterlands game. What one should we use? Currently there isn't much difference in terms of USD > SCRIPT regardless of what SWAP option you choose. Meaning, all SWAP functions roughly give the same amount of SCRIPT for the same amount of the paired tokens USD value. While its wise to check each market before purchase the one you choose (at current time) won't change the amount of SCRIPT you receive to any meaningful degree.

Now lets get back to SWAPPING for some SCRIPT Tokens. Rentmoney does his swaps using TribalDex. The app known as Hive-Engine can also be used. TribalDex is powered by Hive-Engine and share SWAP Pools and Trade markets. I fully intend on holding a bag of SCRIPT but for this example we will use the SWAP.HIVE I have in one of my alt accounts. The amount of SWAP.HIVE I have, roughly 16.84. Before we continue with the SWAP there is another feature you should be aware of when SWAPPING tokens. That feature (fee) is called the Slippage. What is Slippage? It's the amount of tokens you can SWAP before the cost of your token SWAP changes value. Keep a close eye on the Slippage because you don't want to be over-paying for your SWAPS. Luckily TribalDex and Hive-Engine both have a function that allows us to input our MAX Slippage. As displayed in the screenshot below this paragraph you will see slippage amounts in the following increments: () 0.5% () 1% () 5% () 10% () 25% () 49%. The default slippage is set at 0.5%, a reasonable amount if you ask me. If you are unsure of how slippage works Do Not Pick One Of The Higher Amounts . If you do understand how slippage works than if you pick one of the higher slippage amounts I'm sure you have your reasons for doing so. Nothing wrong with that.

Now where were we? Oh yeah, we were about to SWAP our 16 SWAP.HIVE for SCRIPT Tokens and then transfer them to Arcade Colony. Why are we doing this? The Hive Token price is at a point where we should be accumulating Hive and not trading it away. Today's date is 11/16/2025 and as listed on CoinMarketCap the Hive Token USD value is $0.1122. The answer is a simple one. Rentmoney believes that SCRIPT Tokens are also a great deal at current time. On top of that I simply want more Arcade Colony assets. I suggest you do your own research before coming to the same conclusion Rentmoney has. With that being said its time for me to SWAP my SWAP.HIVE for some SCRIPT Tokens. If you take a look at the below screenshot you will see that my 16.84 SWAP.HIVE Tokens will SWAP for no less than 10.478 SCRIPT Tokens. We might end up with a little more SCRIPT for our SWAP but because we used the SLIPPAGE function we will not get less. Also displayed in the below screenshot is the Liquidity Provider Fee. As displayed the fee for the SWAP I'm about to conduct is 0.026 SCRIPT. This fee helps reward the liquidity providers. Without them these pools would not exist. A small fee in comparison to the service provided. A fee that I'm more than happy to pay for instant swaps.

After checking and double checking the values I placed into the SWAP template for SCRIPT Tokens I smash that highlighted SWAP icon. Lets see the end result. Did I get the minimum SCRIPT TribalDex advertised for my 16.8 SWAP.HIVE? Did I end up with a little more? 10.487, that is the amount of SCRIPT I managed to receive for 16.8 SWAP.HIVE tokens. Looks like I managed to get a little more than the minimum that was presented to me. Which was a nice surprise. It was only 0.01 more but more is still more and one can't complain about that. Now that we SWAPPED for some SCRIPT I plan on immediately sending them to the official Arcade Colony webpage. For a quick rundown on how to transfer your SCRIPT from TribalDex (Hive-Engine) to your Arcade Colony wallet here it is: Log in to Arcade Colony > Click the SCRIPT icon at the top of the home-page > you are now in the wallet section > Click the Transfer option > Select Hive-Engine out of the drop-down menu > Enter the amount of SCRIPT you want to move from Hive-Engine (TriabDex) to your in-game wallet > Double check all entered values > if satisfied click the Transfer In option displayed in your wallet. Presto, finished; you have now transferred your SCRIPT tokens from TribalDex (Hive-Engine) to your Arcade Colony wallet.
