Lets Open Some CHAOS Packs

Opening Packs

CHAOS Packs are so affordable right now its costing me to not open some. Costing me what? FUN that's what. The lost cost isn't a token, not fiat but something much more valuable than either of those things, a good time. So lets go ahead and open some CHAOS Packs but before we do lets go over how one can get their hands on these packs and what their current trade value are. First things first, CHAOS packs have long been sold out and are no longer attainable from Splinterlands. That doesn't mean we can't get our grubby little hands on some, we can. To do so all we need to do is head to TribalDex (Hive-Engine) > Search the marketplace for CHAOS and bobs your uncle. So lets do that now to have a look at what the going rate is for a CHAOS Pack. As indicated in the graph shared above, just above the big green arrow. We will see that the last sold for CHAOS Pack traded for just $0.29 USD. All I can say is, what a deal! Rentmoney already has some packs so we won't be purchasing some today. What we will be doing is what the title indicates. Opening some of our already attained packs. I suppose before I do that I should link the CHAOS section of the Tribaldex wallet for those who might want to go directly there. Here we go: https://tribaldex.com/trade/CHAOS. Clicking that raw URL will take you to it. Something else I noticed about CHAOS packs is the daily sales volume has been kicking it up a notch. If we take another look at that graph posted above, in the top corner we will see a 24hr sales volume of $750+ USD is recorded for CHAOS. The Ask and Bid prices are also very close to each other at $0.28 - $0.29 USD. However this post isn't about any of that. This post is about simple, old fashion FUN. Lets open some packs.

Purchase Pack Page On Splinterlands Looks Like This

As you can see. There is a SOLD OUT message but Splinterlands directs you to places that still has some available. These places include the In-Game-Market and Hive-Engine (TriabalDex).

The Mana Well

There is an option to display owned packs vs. all packs.

First Pack Opened

  • ------> Boom A Legendary

Second Pack Opened

  • ------> Standard one rare, four common pack

Conclucing Thoughts:

That was the first time I opened packs in, well lets just say I don't fully recall the last time I fell into a MANA Well. That first opening was very exciting. My eyes lit up in the same manner as they always did when discovering I'm about to flip over a Legendary card. What followed next was the same words that all-way's follows when a Legendary Card is flipping. The words "Turn Gold" are uttered. This time it was a regular foil and we are happy with that. Looking at the card sales market we will see that one card alone is worth $1.51 USD. Meaning that one flipped card paid for our two pack openings plus gave us $0.90 profits. I was going to open another but I think I'll stop there for now. Who knows if I can resist opening some more later. I do hear the MANA Well calling to me. Can confirm, opening packs in 2025 is just as fun as the first time it was possible to do so. Got to love all the added graphics and interactions with the game when doing so.

What Is Splinterlands?

Splinterlands is a #play2earn game hosted on the Hive Blockchain. Assets that have real monetary value are used to earn rewards/ more assets in a robust gaming economy. Such assets are tradable on-site or on many different secondary markets such as TribalDex and Hive-Engine. Don't have a Splinterlands account yet. Well you are in luck because I just so happen to have an ambassador code. Clicking it will start the sign up process. What is an ambassadors code? Its a code that will give me credit for your sign up at no cost to you. Here it is: https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rentmoney Don't want to use my ambassador code (no worries) here is a direct link that will forgo any credit to me: https://splinterlands.com.

Conqueror Jacek Lore

The darkness was vast and endless. Days passed. Years. Decades. Centuries. The Conqueror Jacek lost track of their passing.

He waited, trapped beneath a mountain of stone and bound by the arcane wards of the efreet. He was aware of the struggles of his giant phoenix as it fought to free itself. In time, its struggles grew less frequent, until at last it grew still, save for the fluttering beat of its heart.

Jacek could not move, yet he was not still. His anger churned endlessly within him.

When Mount Praetorous erupted and spewed forth its lava, Jacek drew upon its surge of mana. He shattered his wards, dug himself free of the rock, and began to climb.

It took him many days to ascend the depths of the Abyssal Caldera. When at last he reached its top and stood upon the crater's rim, a great storm raged. His phoenix cawed as it circled above him. In the distance, through the rain and the strobes of lightning, the tentacles of the dark god Uul flailed at the sky. Below, a vast army marched across the land.

The Conqueror Jacek extended an arm, and his phoenix swooped down to settle upon it. The bird ruffled its feathers and eyed the world curiously.

Jacek set his jaw and clenched his fists. The ground trembled as he started down the slope of the caldera.

Opening CHAOS Packs sounds so fun! I really like how each pack brings a little surprise and excitement. It’s nice to see they’re still affordable too makes the game even more enjoyable for everyone.

Can confirm,

Much fun was had.

With how cheap they are I might go ahead and buy some soon 🤔

Worth the punt imo. 100 is currently just $30 USD. 10 just $3.00 USD. Hard to imagine they dip lower but I have been wrong a time or two in the past. But only just a time or two :P However the unopened supply still is well over a million. I haven't checked recently but seen mentioned the supply is somewhere around 1.7 million unopened packs. Regardless for 30 cents and a chance at opening a valuable card + fun of doing so, I believe its worth it. Or to hold for future benefits, which is what I'm doing.

Jacek is a good pull!

Can't complain when flipping a $1.50 card from a $0.30 pack.

The benefit of the decline in the prices of all cryptos is that in all such games, the price of everything is low, so here we can now buy everything we like to make the game interesting.

Conqueror Jacek is a very powerful fire summoner

Getting a legendary card in the pack is already a big win
