Renting Activities:
My collection is mainly OG cards from the earlier sets. I have an abundance available for rent and even more sitting idle in my accounts. It does surprise me a little that more of the Older edition cards don't rent more frequently than they do. If you are using rentals for land productivity the older cards pack more bang for your buck with higher Power and Production rates. The easiest example of this is the OG editions Alpha and Beta. The Alpha variant of a Beta card can usually be rented for the same rental price as its Beta counterpart but pack more production and power value. Same is true for the newer sets vs. Beta. You can routinely find Beta cards renting with higher production and power value for similar rental prices as the newer editions. So pending your reasoning for rentals, it might be wise to look at the older editions. currently Rentmoney is having fun looking over the rental market. Participating here n there and earning some DEC.
Adding to my Rusty Android Collection

The Rusty Android, once and possibly still the butt of many jokes within the Splinterlands community. Many Android's were sent to be burned. I currently own over 1000 of these and I just added four more. I paid using DEC which had the total cost of 281.01 DEC. If I had purchased using credits the cost would of been 164 credits. The Rusty Android has a power of 16 and Production of 9.9 at Level One. The card is part of the Beta collection and is a Common | Neutral | Reward | Unit. I'm currently thinking on trading my "newer" card collection for DEC and then adding to my Beta collection. Its my collection set of choice and I want more.
Adding to my Pack Collection

I also started keeping an eye on the pack market. I think I will start adding a pack or 20 here n there when it makes sense for me to do so. I still think CHAOS at current USD prices is a great deal. Just a couple weeks back the price per CHAOS Pack spiked to $0.50 cents. It didn't take the whales long to notice and to start selling into the Buy orders. Today we see CHAOS at the very affordable USD price of $0.37. No matter how you dice it, opening packs is fun and doing so for just $0.37 USD a pop is a great deal. I already own a couple thousand and am content with holding them. I might add some more/ might not, who knows for sure; not me. However I recently took an interest in Foundation and intend on playing the campaign mode once my new to me laptop gets delivered. Until then I'll poke around in the Foundation markets purchasing a card here n there and some packs to go along with. In-fact I purchased a couple packs not that long ago. Lets purchase another in-real-time right now (Done and Done). In the past I have purchased a few foundations cards of different rarity and levels including MAX cards and will continue to do so in the future.
SPS: Collect | Trade | Purchase

If you are within the Splinterlands universe collecting more SPS is likely high on your priority list of things to do. I have mainly just been collecting my earned SPS and stacking them. I don't believe I have ever traded away or sold any amount of SPS that has ever been dropped to me. Not for card packs. Not for increasing my Hive Tokens. I simply just keep collecting and stacking. With the wave Hive has been on lately I been thinking on jumping into the SPS:Hive trading market with the intentions of increasing my SPS holdings. I have dabbled a little with doing so with my Hive Tokens in the Hive:HBD market with some moderate success. I have started keeping an eye on the SPS markets to see the swing ratio and now all that is left to do is wait for a favorable time to trade my SPS for another currency and then trade it back again. At current USD value of SPS I can hedge any potential SPS loss by simply purchasing more SPS with fiat. Plus trading is fun and doing fun things is high on Rentmoney's list of things to do. Some months back I announced DEC Kickback for those who rent Splinterland cards from me.
DEC KickBack

DEC Kickback promo ends: I created some KickBack posts in the past but interest was low with 2/3 of the previous posts not getting any takers. The remaining getting less than a handful of participants. This is likely because my collection is mainly OG cards (Alpha & Beta) . I don't want to keep creating similar posts if there is no to little interest in such so this serves as notice that the kickback promo has ended. I will honor any KickBack request done in this final announcement. In-short if you have an active rental from me comment below and you'll get some DEC sent to you based on amount of cards/ DEC spent on active Rentmoney rentals. We will bring this promo back in the future as I think with the right cards it can be a hot ticket item. That's all of my Splinterland secrets I'm willing to share with you today. Thanks for reading. If you are new to the Rentmoney blog/ Splinterlands or the Hive Blockchain there will be a short introduction below.

What Is The Hive Blockchain?
----------------------> As defined by @rentmoney
It's many things including but not limited to: A source for information. A host spot for many play2earn games. A place to build your own business. A place to run a blog account. A place to interact with your online friends. A place to expand your knowledge. Your imagination is the limit to what the Hive Blockchain has to offer and could be to you. Creating and curating content on the Hive Blockchain will give you the opportunity to earn the Blockchains main currencies known as Hive and HBD (Hive Backed Dollars). No financial advice has been given in this post. Do your own research before investing/ spending any of your hard earned currencies.
What Is Splinterlands?
Splinterlands is a #play2earn game hosted on the Hive Blockchain. Assets that have real monetary value are used to earn rewards/ more assets in a robust gaming economy. Such assets are tradable on-site or on many different secondary markets such as TribalDex and Hive-Engine. Don't have a Splinterlands account yet. Well you are in luck because I just so happen to have an ambassador code. Clicking it will start the sign up process. What is an ambassadors code? Its a code that will give me credit for your sign up at no cost to you. Here it is: https://splinterlands.com/register?ref=rentmoney Don't want to use my ambassador code (no worries) here is a direct link that will forgo any credit to me: https://splinterlands.com.

Rusty Android Lore:
Several Lyverian farmers reported seeing a strange blue light rushing down from the sky one evening and landing with a crash in the fields. Later that evening, a strange metal-skinned device calling itself Rusty Android was making friends with the locals in the tavern. Lore taken from the official Splinterlands webpage.

I rented out a Robo-Dragon Knight from you. One of the few dragons I don't own. Just to send the kickback out on a good note 👍
Delegation confirmed
Plus my freebees from a long, long time ago 😉
Beta cards and beta rewards are awesome for land, I'm glad I held a few hundreds of rusty androids as well!
Nice, a fellow Rusty Android collector.
@rentmoney, your collections are so impressive!!! I have a question about SPS; stacking and staking of SPS are they the same thing?
When I say stacking, I am referring to all variants of the token. Staked or liquid, more is the goal.
Now I get it clearer 👍
A fat SPS pile actually sounds nice. Below 0.01 was probably a great dip buy few months back or whenever that was. You been on fire lately ya animal, I can't even keep up lol.

Current price: $0.006332

The flip side of that is HIVE is currently on-sale so while cheap in USD, potentially costly in Hive Dollars.
True and True, im still trying to crush some debts, but otherwise would love to be buying more while it might be cheap. I'm kinda hoping for a little bear season actually. Classic crypto action, and remember to be patient when its in bear cycle, so we can buy more and chill.

Oh I also have a rusty android, back before untamed it was decent
Rusty Android, that now makes three of us here in the comment section that has them.
I have seen that due to the low prices, the rent was getting low, so people stopped using this project. This should not be done. The project should be used in good times and bad times, that's when people love the project.

Your Splinterlands strategy looks really smart renting older cards and growing the Rusty Android collection is impressive. The tips on SPS and the DEC Kickback promo are also very useful. Looking forward to more updates.
Thanks for reading and commenting.
The Untamed set has a lot of powerful cards
It's a good set for sure.
Rusty Android is a very good card especially if it is leveled up to higher levels
Now there's something you don't hear everyday. I would agree though. The card is a reward card and at one point in-time could of been earned in Ranked play for free. For a free card its stats and abilities for its time made it for a good enough tank in a Reward Heavy line-up.
Yeah, the obtainable reward cards before are very much valuable in todays market
Note To Self:
You once again forgot to select 100% powerup for post earnings.
