Hello, Splinterlands Community !

In Splinterlands, there are two cryptocurrency that can be obtain: The Dark Energy Crystals and the Splintershards. Today, we are going to talk about one of the cryptocurrencies in Splinterlands: THE SPLINTERSHARDS.

SPLINTERSHARDS

image.png

SPLINTERHARDS or SPS is one of the tokens that can be obtain in Splinterlands. This token can only be obtain through purchasing or through airdrops. As of now, there are total of 524,583,332 SPS currently circulating (stahed and unstaked) in the market. There are 244,363,526 unstaked SPS and ready to be exchange and there are 280,219,806 staked SPS by the token holders. So far, the most recent market price of SPS is $0.151.

As mentioned earlier, SPS can only be obtain by purchasing it or through Airdrops. This token can be purchase in the game, but there are also other markets where you can buy SPS. Here are the other markets being suggested on Spliterlands website:

image.png

  • PancakeSwap
  • gate.io
  • TRIBALDEX
  • HIVE ENGINE
  • METAVERSE

Now that we know where to buy these tokens, let us now talk about the AIRDROPS.

image.png

AIRDROPS

The AIRDROP is the other way to get SPS tokens in Splinterlands. The number of tokens that the player will get depends on the Collection Power, Dark Energy Crystals (DEC), DEC Liquidty Pool, Card Packs, Land Plots, Champion Points, Splintertalk Tokens (SPT), Card Skins, Totems, and Titles. Each of these has certain points, which will be multiplied to your owned properties.

The Collection Power

image.png

Collection Power (CP) pertains to the power of the cards you own in Splinterlands. Each type of cards have different CP and it only ranges from 5 to 3,000 CP for Regular Foil Cards and it ranges from 125 to 150,000 CP for Gold Foil Cards. The table on the left is the CP that every types of cards have. You can use this as your reference on renting and buying cards. Aside from this chart, there are also other ways on knowing the power of the cards; and this is through looking at their BURN VALUE. Since Splinterlands made an update, you can now determine the power of the card by going to cards/card sales/card rental and then click the card. Then, you can see the power of the cards you choose. Here is the sample below.

image.png

As you can see, the power of the Magma Troll is 10 CP. This 10 CP will be multiplied to the Airdrop points of Collecton Power. The airdrop points of Collection Power is 1. Therefore, you will have 10 airdrop points buy just owning the Magma Troll.

DARK ENERGY CRYSTAL

image.png

DARK ENERGY CRYSTAL (DEC) is the primary cryptocurrency being used in Splinterlands. Players can obtain DEC by winning every battle starting in Bronze II, converting cards to DEC, and purchasing it in the game and to PancakeSwap, UNISWAP, TRONTRADE, TRIBALDEX and HIVE ENGINE. Sometimes, players also get DEC on the reward chest. DEC can be used in buying cards, buying card packs, buying card skins, and joining tournaments. There are lots of things that you can do with this cryptocurrency. You can also convert this into real money. As of today, 1 DEC is $0.003512.

The airdrop points for DEC is 1. Therefore, if you have 1000 DEC, then you will have an additional 1000 airdrops points for the SPS.

DEC LIQUIDITY POOL

Liquidity Pool is about the buy and sell of crypto or the exchange of crypto to one another. Example is the conversion of DEC to SPS and vice versa. But how does DEC Liquidity works?

First, you need to transfer DEC or SPS to your Hive Engine Wallet, PancakeSwap, and etc. Next, go to TRIBALDEX and click "Add Liquidity". Then, choose the pair of tokens you want to be exchange and to be exchange with. After that, just wait for a few seconds/minutes then you will see your shares in DEC Liquidity Pool.

The airdrop points for DEC Liquidity Pool is 2. Therefore, if you have 1,000 DEC Liquidity Pool, then you will get 2,000 airdrop points for the SPS.

CARD PACKS

image.png

CARD PACKS are set of cards that can be buy on different markets. There are also different kinds of card packs: the UNTAMED, AZMARE DICE, ESSENCE ORB, ALPHA, and BETA. Each of the kind has different airdrop points. The UNTAMED has 600 points, the AZMARE DICE has 900 points, the ESSSENCE ORB has 2,400 points, the ALPHA has 4,800 points, and the BETA has 2,400 points. Looking at the airdrop points, we can really say that owning card packs could help you to obtain more SPS. Also, some of the packs could help the players get higher DEC on every winning battles.

LAND PLOTS

image.png

Base on the official statement posted in Splinterlands, LAND PLOTS are basic unit of Splinterlands land. On this new addition in the game, the players will have an opportunity to create their own items and spells, which can be use in battles. This new addition in the game will definitely spice things up in every battle in Splinterlands.

Base on my research, there are only 150,000 plots sold in Splinterlands players and this number does not fully made the whole continent of Praetoria (land of Splinterlands).

In the present, 1 LAND PLOT is equal to 10,000 airdrop points. Meaning if a player has 5 Land Plots, then he/she will get 50,000 airdrop points.

SPLINTERTALK TOKENS

image.png

Splintertalk is a blogging website, where most of the topic is about NFT games, specifically about Splinterlands. On this website, players are given an opportunity to express their thoughts, ideas, and concepts about the game. There are also challenges here, offered by Splinterlands, to help other players earn cryptocurrencies. In Splintertalk, the reward that you can get for every upvotes are called Splintertalk Tokens (SPT). SPT can be converted into other cryptocurrency like DEC and SPS.

For beginners in Splinterlands that has only limited amount of money, I highly suggest to focus here in Splintertalk in order to buy cards/card packs. This is how I buy my cards. I only spend $10 in Splinterlands to buy Spellbook and everything else that I use to buy, is from my payouts in blogging.

The Splintertalk Tokens (SPT) has an equivalent of 0.25 airdrop points. So, if you have 100 SPT, then you will get an additional 25 points in SPS airdrop points.

CARD SKINS

image.png

CARD SKINS are additionals in Splinterlands. They can be purchase in the game and currently, the prices are ranges form 2,000 DEC up to 5,000 DEC. It is somehow expensive for others, especially for the beginners, but if you compare its additional airdrops in SPS points, it will be worth it.

The airdrop points for the Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary Skins are 1,000, 2,500, 5,000 and 10,000, respectively.

TOTEMS

image.png

There are are four kinds of TOTEMS: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary Totems. Totems can be use to increase the productivity of items and magical abilities in the lands. Yes, this Totem can also be use in the lands. These Totems can be converted into tokens and it can also be traded to other platforms.

The airdrop points for Totems also varies depending on its kind. 1,000 points for Common, 5,000 points for Rare, 25,000 points for Epic, and 100,000 points for Legendary.

TITLES

image.png

TITLES are kind of an additional to the username of the players in Splinterlands. Base on what I have read, it can be obtain by buying a lot of packs (correct me if I am wrong).

The airdrop points for the Titles is in 100,000 points. This a very big help on raising your SPS airdrop points.

image.png

TIPS ON RAISING AIRDROP POINTS

Splintersrhards (SPS) has definitely higher value compared to Dark Energy Crystal (DEC) and that is the reason why most players are trying really hard to raise their airdrop points. But the question is, are you doing it right? Now, here are some tips that could possibly help you on raising your SPS Airdrop Points.

  • It is better to convert your SPT to DEC than letting SPT as it is. Base on the points they have, 1 DEC is equal to 1 airdrop points and 1 SPT is equal to 0.25 points. So, if you have 50 SPT, you will only 12.5 or 13 points. That is too low coming from 50 SPT. But if you convert the 50 SPT to DEC, you will have 41 DEC, which will give you 41 points.

image.png

Therefore, converting SPT to DEC gives higher airdrop points compared to letting eh SPT as it is in your wallet.

  • Compare the power of your card to the DEC that you will get if you sell it. Most of the time, cards are more expensive than their burn value, that reflects as their power. So doing this, it let you increase the amount of SPS airdrop points that you will get. But before you do it, think about it first and make a research comparison.

  • It is better to let your card packs as it is than opening it immediately. Base on the mentioned points, card packs have very high airdrop points. Now, if you open it immediately, card packs will turn into individual cards that has their own power. Collection power is only 1 point per power. By just that concept, we can clearly see that there will be a huge difference in SPS airdrop points.

image.png

CONCLUSION

There are various ways on making your SPS airdrop points higher. It is up to us players on how to do that. For me, the only way to make SPS airdrop points is to understand the pointing system on every criteria, make a research on how they affect each other, and which gives the best points. By following that, bigger SPS airdrop points will be achieved.

If ever you want to compute your possible SPS Airdrop Points, you can use this, SPLINTERCARDS to compare which gives you better airdrop points.

This is a great posts that could starters to understand the SPS airdrop more.

I am just curious though if there is a liquidity pool to swap SPT directly to DEC, like you are showing in your picture, I am not aware of any, I would appreciate if you can point me in that direction.

!1UP

I am sorry but I am not aware as well about the liquidity pool pertaining swap of SPT to DEC. But I suggest, try to convert your SPT to one of your known pairs, and then do your common way in Liquidity Pool

About the picture of the swap of SPT to DEC, that is from this website:
hive-engine.com. That is where I do the conversion of SPT to DEC.
