Weekly Frontier Draw
Not long ago, the new game mode that would have been aimed at beginners, Frontier Mode added two very interesting ways to reward players. The first is the simplest, which is a Daily Reward, with some cards as a reward if you win 5 games that day. The second was the slightly more complex Weekly Frontier Draw, by winning matches in Frontier mode the player will win Frontier Entries to participate in the weekly Frontier Draws that will award 76 random players a rare card from the Foundation collection that can be Black Foil, Gold Foil Arcane or even a Black Foil Arcane.
This mechanic is interesting because it encourages the player to stay active in Splinterlands, playing matches every day in search of 5 victories, thereby making them return to the game, guaranteeing recurrence through a reward. Furthermore, if the player sees that he is having difficulty winning matches on the day, this will end up leading to a cycle in which he will look for ways to improve to win more quickly, but as a result he will end up facing new opponents and will therefore need to improve again. The effect this will generate is a greater search for foundation cards to level up your deck and content for tips and guides to improve it.
Weekly Fortune Draw
After understanding the context of how the idea came about, let's now discover how Weekly Fortune Draw works. Initially the player will need a Speebook to participate, costing 125 DEC weekly to participate in the weekly draw, in other words, the difference to Frontier is that even before you think about the Draw Entries you already need to pay in advance to participate, and if you don't win anything, you actually ended up losing a little DEC.
To obtain Fortune Draw Entries, the player will need to win ranked matches, at least 5 to 3 times a day, in Modern or Wild modes. This is the main way, as players already participate in ranked duels every day, but it will also be possible to get draws in loot chests or by purchasing with glint in the Glint Shop.
SPS Stake Factor x Fortune Draw
In Weekly Fortune Draws, there is an SPS Stake factor that is very important for acquiring Fortune Draw Entries. The number of tickets a player will earn from their 5 ranked wins will depend on their League/ranking and their total SPS stake, which is what they have staked and what they have delegated.
The number of entries will be the lowest value between the total SPS staked and the league the player is in. The image shows how this division will initially work, with the SPS stake ranging from 2500+ with 1 entry to 30 entries with 5M SPS staked. Leagues range from Bronze with 3 entries to Champion with 30. For example, if you're in the Silver League (6) and only have 10k SPS staked, you'll receive only 2 entries upon completing 5 ranked wins. I believe that, as mentioned, it's up to 3 times a day, so this amount will be multiplied by the number of times you achieve the 5 wins, with a limit of 3.
This addition, like the Weekly Frontier Draw, will encourage players to be more active in Splinterlands, aiming to achieve the 5 wins in Modern and Wild every day. The SPS factor will encourage players to accumulate more tokens or rent more SPS to increase their total SPS holdings and avoid being limited by the SPS amount.
This could ultimately impact demand for SPS if a significant number of new and existing players seek more SPS. Perhaps more incentives to stake the token could help SPS recover after the recent Crypto Crash, which briefly plunged the token below $0.007. Currently, the token is at $0.0073, still a bit far from the $0.01 it reached mid-year.

Há não muito tempo, o novo modo de partidas que seria voltado para iniciantes, o Frontier Mode adicionou dois modos bem interessantes de recompensas os jogadores. O primeiro é o mais simples, que é um Daily Reward, com algumas cartas como recompensa caso você ganha 5 partidas no dia. Já o segundo foi o Weekly Frontier Draw um pouco mais complexo, ao ganhar as partidas no modo Frontier o jogador vai ganhar os Frontier Entries para participar dos Frontier Draws semanal que vai premiar 76 jogadores aleatórios uma carta rara da coleção Foundation que pode ser Black Foil, Gold Foil Arcane ou até mesmo uma Black Foil Arcane.
Essa mecância é interessante porque incentiva o jogador a se manter ativo no Splinterlands, jogando todos os dias as partidas em busca das 5 vitórias, com isso faz com que ele volte ao jogo, garantindo recorrência através de uma recompensa. Além disso, caso o jogador veja que está tendo dificuldade em ganhar as partidas no dia, isso vai acabar levando à um ciclo em que ele vai procurar formas de melhorar para ganhar mais rapidamente, mas com isso acabará enfrentando novos oponente e com isso precisará melhorar novamente. O efeito que isso vai gerar é uma procurar maior pelas cartas foundation para upar o seu deck e por conteúdo de dicas e guias para ele melhorar.

Depois de entender o contexto de como surgiu a ideia, vamos agora descobrir como funciona o Weekly Fortune Draw. Inicialmnete o jogador vai precisar de um Speebook para participar, custando semanalmente 125 DEC para participar no draw semanal, ou seja, a diferença para o Frontier é que nesse mesmo antes de você pensar nas Draw Entries você já precisa pagar de forma antecipada para participar, sendo que caso você não ganhe nada, você na verdade acabou perdendo um pouco de DEC.
Para conseguir as Fortune Draw Entries o jogador vai precisar ganhar as partidas rankeadas, ao menos 5 até 3 vezes por dia, nos modos Modern ou Wild. Essa é a principalmente forma, já que os jogadores já participam de duelos rankeados todos os dias, mas também será possível conseguir draws nos loot chest ou comprando com glint no Glint Shop.
SPS Stake Factor x Fortune Draw
Nos Weekly Fortune Draws existe um fator de Stake de SPS que é bem importância para a aquisição de Fortune Draw Entries, porque o número de tickets que o jogador irá conseguir nas 5 vitórias rankeadas vai depender da Liga/ranking que ele está e o total de staked SPS do jogador, que vai ser o que ele possui em stake e também o que ele tem delegado.
A quantidade de entradas será o menor valor entre o total de SPS em stake e a ligua que o jogador está. Na imagem podemos ver como vai funcionar essa divisão inicialmente, com o SPS em Stake indo desde 2500+ com 1 entry até 30 entries com 5M de SPS em stake. Já as Ligas vai desde Bronze com 3 entries até o Champion com 30. Um exemplo é que caso você esteja na liga silver (6) e tenha apenas 10k de SPS em stake, você irá receber ao completar as 5 ranked wins, apenas 2 entries. Acredito que como foi mencionado que é até 3x ao dia, esse valor será multiplicado pela quantidade de vezes que você conseguir as 5 vitórias, com o limite de 3.
Essa adição é algo que assim como o Weekly Frontier Draw, vai buscar fazer com que os jogadores sejam mais ativos no Splinterlands, ao tentarem conquistar as 5 vitórias no Modern e no Wild todos os dias e o fator do SPS vai fazer com que os jogadores sejam incentivados à acumular mais tokens ou alugar mais SPS para aumentar o total de SPS e não ficarem limitados pela quantidade de SPS.
Isso pode acabar impactando na demanda por SPS caso haja uma quantidade considerável de jogadores novos e antigos buscando mais SPS. Talvez mais incentivos para o stake do token possam fazer com que o SPS se recupere depois do Crypto Crash que houve recentmente, que levou o token a ser negociado abaixo dos $0,007 por um curto período. Atualmente o token se encontre em $0,0073 ainda um pouco longe dos $0,01 que alcançou no meio do ano.
