Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.

Today I played one of the most intense matches I have played in a long time on #splinterlands. Honestly I already thought the match was over and I was going to lose for sure, but somehow one of my cards turned into an absolute monster in the final rounds.

I used a Death + Mage focused team while my opponent used a mixed lineup with Melee, Magic and Ranged damage together. At first I thought my strategy was decent, but after a few rounds things started going really bad for me.

The battle lasted for 11 rounds which already tells you how close and stressful this game was. Usually most battles end quickly, but this one just kept going and every round felt important.

The mana cap was pretty decent so both of us were able to bring strong cards into the battle. I decided to go with Death element because lately I been enjoying magic damage teams a lot more. Mage teams are risky sometimes, but if they survive long enough they become really annoying for the enemy.
My opponent looked very confident from the start. The moment I saw the lineup I knew this wasnt going to be easy at all.

The first few rounds actually looked balanced. Both sides were trading damage and losing armor slowly. My mage units were doing pretty good damage in the backline and I thought I had control of the battle.

But then the opponent's heavy hitters started deleting my cards one by one.

That is the thing with mixed teams honestly. They can pressure from every angle. Melee attacks were smashing my frontline while ranged and magic damage kept hitting behind it too. My tank disappeared faster than I expected.

By round 4 and 5 I already started thinking β€œyeah this might be over”.

Still, my last mage card survived somehow and kept attacking every single round.

At round 7 there were only TWO cards left alive on the battlefield. Just mine and my opponent's final card.

And honestly? My opponent’s card looked WAY stronger.

It had better health, looked tanky and I seriously thought there was no way my mage survives this. I was already mentally prepared for the defeat screen.

But then something crazy happened.

My mage started attacking nonstop every round without giving the opponent any room to recover. Every attack connected perfectly. No misses. No wasted turns. Just constant pressure.

This was one of those moments where you stop blinking while watching the battle because every single hit matters.

I am not even joking, these rounds felt longer than normal.

My opponent probably thought he already won too because his final card looked much stronger on paper. But #Splinterlands is funny sometimes. Strong stats alone dont always win the game.

Momentum matters alot.

And once my mage started dominating the tempo, the enemy card slowly started falling apart.

Round 11 finally arrived and this was literally the deciding moment.

One final attack.

My mage attacked first and BOOM… enemy card gone.

Victory screen appeared and I just sat there shocked for a few seconds πŸ˜‚

This honestly felt more satisfying than easy wins. Matches like this are why I still enjoy playing #Splinterlands everyday. Sometimes impossible battles turn into legendary wins if your last card refuses to give up.

I seriously thought I lost from round 7 already.

Instead my last mage card carried the whole game by itself.

Absolute cinema.

Even after playing many matches on #Splinterlands, battles like this still get my heart racing. This was probably one of my most clutch wins recently.

11 rounds.
Only 2 cards left.
My opponent looked stronger.
And somehow my final mage card refused to lose.

These are the kind of matches you remember for a long time.

Honestly if somebody only watches the final rounds without context, they would probably think my card was unbeatable πŸ˜‚

Anyway thats it for today’s #Splinterlands grind. More battles tomorrow and hopefully more crazy moments too. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)

I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.

That was close, but I am still trying to phantom how Fenmoor continued attacking living berm repeatedly. It was not execute ability in display, because at the time they met one on one, Living berm health was at +10 with a better speed as well. Anyway, congratulations πŸ‘πŸŽ‰ Warrior!

I'm still thinking about that. Sometimes Splinterlands is just at your favor i guess πŸ˜…

It is crazy 🀣
