Welcome to my blog for an entry into the splinterlands contest. Today I'll be making my entry into the social media challenge. First of all i will like to ask how the market has been treating you guys. I quite remember last year that the sps price was well above a cent. Today it is struggling to say about 0.006. The crypto market us a funny place and as much as we want the market to be as high as possible we must also understand that its not always going to be like this.
What ever goes up will surely come down and what ever goes down will surely come up. If youve been a crypto person for a while you definitely know that November to December are not often good times for crypto. Why is this? This is because we are gradually entering the festive season and this means that a lot of people will make sells just to enjoy this festive season. Well, that's just how it is and we can only deal with it this way.
Today I have been able to play a few games and I must say I am proud lol. Ever since the new season ive not been able to put in more than 10 games which was a worry to me. This is because I usually dont like seeing my energy mana full. If it was left on to me I'll deplete it to 0 everyday but due to other things I can't do that.
Since the start of the new season ive been in gold trying to make my way to the top. Its been a long period of not going past gold easily. This season I seem to he struggling a bit in gold and I am honestly not surprised. That's how spl is and I like that about the game.
So like I always do, let's get into the social media postm if youve followed my social media posting for sometime you'd realize that i usually write about my battles when it comes to the social media posts and today wont be any different.
Let's talk about this particular battle and how I navigated it. This battle didnt have my usual high mana games that I like. But one thing that did cater for it was the equalizer ruleset. In case you don't know what this ruleset is; it means they initial health of all units is equal to that of the unit on either team with the highest base health. In low man terms, it means that all the cards will take the highest health of the card with the highest health on any team.
The other rulesets were keep your distance which means you can use melee attack cards. The last was fog of war. This means cards loose the sneak, snipe and opportunity abilities.
The battle mana was 32 and well i did make very good use of it. I went for the akane summoner which is a dragon summoner. This summoner has the lookout or ambush abilities which will be give to your cards. As usual i went in for rhe ambush ability. Then I went in for the ulfga the blighted card, abyssal elemental, runester sevaya, shock trooper, water diviner and calamity card. 2 out of my six cards were no attack cards. These two cards weren't there to attack but to either add something to my cards or do damage to my opponents cards.
The funniest part of this was that 3 of my cards had the electrified disability but I didnt think it'll be a problem because the health of those cards were as high as 10 . My main concern as well was the calamity not dying before it had its chances to use the last stand.
This was a win but it wasnt easy. Calamity had to take them on for the win as the last standing card. You can watch the game in the link here to see how it played out.
