Our battle story this week is about Goblin Psychic, the powerful healer from Earth Splinters. When I opened the first Chaos Legion pack I bought and saw this card, I had this feeling of missing out an opportunity. I know the importance of a healer in the battle field. My immediate reaction was to buy four more of these cards and reserved them for my family’s accounts. Among five cards in that first CL pack, Goblin Psychic was the most expensive. Though its price now is just $0.26, during its release first week of December, if I am not mistaken her price is above $4.00 or perhaps close to $5.00. I based this estimate on my record of the total market price of that first pack, which is $12.65 at the time of the opening. Today, the same cards in that pack would just cost a buyer $0.62. That’s a 95.09% decline! That’s why many who have been playing this game for years are now suggesting that there is no better time to build up your collection power than now!
Ok enough for the market price of the cards. Let us introduce Goblin Psychic.
Prior to the coming of Goblin Psychic, the healer of the earth team is Wood Nymph. Imagine if these two tank healers join forces, the frontline warrior would appear indestructible.
At level 4, Goblin Psychic will have an Affliction ability causing its target unable to recover its health despite the presence of a healer in their camp. That’s how powerful this card is as she levels up for Silver league.
At level 7, Goblin Psychic will attain another ability. This time, it has power to reduce the magic attack of all enemy monsters. This level is suitable for the Gold league.
Utilizing this healer either in the Diamond or Champion league, a player must either rent or upgrade this card to level 10, that’s a total of 400 level 1 cards. With its current market price, that would mean a player needs $104.00 in order to have a level 10 Goblin Psychic. As I checked the rental market, I didn’t see any available level 10 card for rent. At that maximum level, this card would have its fourth ability called Dispel. When she hits an enemy, this ability “clears all positive status effects.”

SUMMONER: MYLOR CROWLING
I like to call Mylor Crowling as the Master of Melee weapon for in my playing experience, there is a high percentage that when a Mylor team is confronted by a team, which weapon is primarily Melee, most likely, the enemy will be defeated in the battle field. As a summoner, he has the ability to grant Thorn to all monsters under his leadership. This would mean that when an enemy attack any of his warrior with Melee weapon, the attacker’s health is down two points not unless the enemy has Shield ability. In that case, only one health will be reduced. Perhaps, that’s the reason why this powerful summoner wears a big smile as if he is mocking all his enemies. He considers the battle field as a game. His style is reckless and wild.
TANK WARRIOR: UNICORN MUSTANG
Unicorn Mustang is my favorite earth tank. Not only that this mythical creature very fast, it also has a very strong Melee attack and high health, not to mention its Void ability that reduces damage from Magic attackers.
SECOND POSITION: FUNGUS FIEND
This legendary monster has 0 mana. It serves as a decoy, to divert the enemies attack to him in order to protect the most vital member of the fighting team.
THIRD POSITION: MUSHROOM SEER
If the other player would utilize magic monsters, with Unicorn Mustang in front and Mushroom Seer’s ability to reduce magic attack, the enemies’ defeat is almost certain.
THE HEALER OF THE GROUP: GOBLIN PSYCHIC
Since it is a high mana battle, instead of Wood Nymph, I prefer to use Goblin Psychic for two reasons: she has higher health and higher magic attack than Wood Nymph. I consider her as the “physician” of the group. Her ability to restore the health of the tank warrior is critical in winning the battle.
FIFTH POSITION: HUNTER JARX
Among earth snipers, Hunter Jarx is my favorite. Though he is a little bit slow, but his three Range attacks are enough to be a serious threat to the enemy in the second position. His 6 health too is fair enough.
LAST POSITION: MITICA HEADHUNTER
I put him in the last position for he is the fastest in his team. With his speed, slow enemies would have difficulty to hit him. And besides, with his Snare ability, whenever he is confronted with flying enemies, this guy won’t miss.
BATTLE RESULTS
This battle is earth against water splinters. It lasted five rounds.
First Round – Fungus Fiend died. Mission accomplished. He was able to distract the enemy.
Round 2 – The enemies’ tank, Diemons Shark was slain by Unicorn Mustang. Unicorn Mustang died afterwards. Mitica Headhunter’s four Range attacks were really helpful. Both Diemons Shark and Flying Squid suffered big damage because of him. With the death of Mushroom Seer, the enemies seem to be gaining the upper hand, but then their healer, Merdaali Guardian was executed by Hunter Jarx.
Round 3 – The third round is the most crucial stage in the battle for Goblin Psychic as the second round closed, was able to remove Feasting Seaweed from the fight after attacking her. Flying Squid didn’t learn the lesson. It too attacked Goblin Psychic that resulted to both of them dead. Yes, Goblin Psychic died, but she brought with her to the other world two water enemies before she died. Again, Mitica Headhunter, the real big warrior in the team killed Deep Lurker with just one blow!
The last two rounds. In the fourth and fifth rounds, only Range Warriors remain, two against one. Since a Range Warrior based on the current battle rule cannot attack from first position, Kulu Swimhunter was helpless. Hunter Jarx served as the front fighter at this time, Mitica Headhunter took this chance to annihilate the enemy.

When I saw that you referred to the Goblin Psychic as "her", I checked out the #Splinterlands lore for that Monster at https://splinterlands.com/?p=card_details&id=371&gold=false&edition=7&tab=lore and saw that male goblins can also become Goblin Psychics. 🤓😅

I didn't check that. She looks like a "her" to me and also healing ability appears to be a sphere for females. Wood Nymph perhaps influenced the way I see Goblin Psychic.
Even without seeing the Wood Nymph first, I understand that the Goblin Psychic's appearance does look like a female at first sight because of the crystal ball. 🤔😆😅
