Carnage Titan is just recently released this morning after the sales of Chaos Legion packs have reached the 8M mark. At level 1, its current market price is $14.00. The gold version of it at level 2 is now worth $136.00.

Seeing the powerful stats of this new dragon warrior, I immediately rushed into the market and checked its price. Since I can’t afford to buy it, for now, I decided to rent this card to test it on the actual battlefield.

I paid 2.60 DEC and I easily recovered the rental fee with three succeeding wins due to the presence of Carnage Titan! In this post, I just want to share three battle stories where Carnage Titan played a significant role in his team’s victory.

Carnage Titan earned the title as “Holicrai the Magnificent” and was considered “the finest Gloridax guardian in the history of the land” (Source).

And now for the battle stories:

FIRST BATTLE

Battle Lineup

Mana Cap: 24

Ruleset:

Noxious Fumes: All monsters start the battle poisoned.

Earthquake: Non-flying Monsters take 2 Melee damage at the end of each round.

This battle is a fight between the combined forces of dragon and death splinters against the combined forces of neutral and death splinters, three warriors with high health except 1 against six warriors with low health except 1. This battle only lasted three rounds.

First Round

Carrion Shade died first. That’s the reason I placed him in the frontline, to absorb the attack of the enemy in order to preserve Nightmare’s health.

Second Round

Before the start of the second round, three warriors in the enemies’ camp perished due to battle rules. Due to their low health, they easily died because of the earthquake and poison.

Nightmare is fast and so the enemies missed their attacks at least three times in the whole battle. That’s a big advantage on the part of their team. With his blast ability, Life Sapper died early in the second round.

Carnage Titan’s double strike directed against Cursed Windeku made the latter incapable to survive until the 3rd round. The earthquake killed him. As a result, not a single enemy remained to enter the 3rd round. The earthquake killed them all.

SECOND BATTLE

Battle Lineup

Mana Cap: 54

Ruleset:

Heavy Hitters: All monsters have the knock-out ability.

Spreading Fury: All monsters have the enrage ability.

This battle is between a purely earth splinters team against the combined forces of dragons and earth splinters. The battle lasted four rounds.

First Round

Mushroom Seer invalidated the ability of Obsidian to grant 1 magic attack to all friendly monsters. That’s a great advantage from the very start of the fight.

Wood Nymph finally completed the destruction of Mycellic Slipspawn started by a powerful ranged attacker, Mitica Headhunter.

Second Round

Mitica Headhunter gave the enemies’ tank, Unicorn Mustang, the final death blow.

Third Round

Chaos Dragon threw Goblin Psychic out of the game. The double attack of Carnage Titan against Mycelic Infantry was completed by Mushroom Seer. This warrior is almost invincible against melee and ranged attacks due to its shield ability.

Fourth Round

Mitica Headhunter had her third victim, a powerful and highly intelligent winged creature, Regal Peryton. Unicorn Mustang ended the battle by killing the last enemy, Elven Mystic.

THIRD BATTLE

Battle Lineup

Mana Cap: 44

Ruleset

Up Close and Personal: Only monsters with Melee attack may be used in battles.

This is a fight between the combined forces of water and neutral monsters against the combined forces of three splinters: dragon, neutral, and water. This battle lasted for seven rounds.

First Round

Both camps have the Disintegrator. With the monster’s demoralized ability, one attack will be deducted from all enemies with Melee weapons. However, this has been nullified by the presence of Demented Shark in my team. This sea creature with its ability to inspire can add one Melee to all friendly monsters.

Also, the ability of Kelya Frendul to add 1 speed to all friendly monsters was canceled by Quix the Devious. So, in terms of speed, both camps are equal, but in terms of attack strength, my camp has the edge.

Deep Lurker killed Battering Ram, another monster with opportunity ability.

Second and Third Rounds

The destruction that happened in these two rounds prepared the way for victories in the fourth round.

Fourth Round

Diemonshark could not be able to completely overcome an enemy of its own kind without the constant attacks coming from Carnage Titan. Diemonshark just completed the destruction that Titan initiated.

Fifth Round

Both Flying Squid and Serpent of Eld suffered the same fate that happened to Diemonshark in the previous round. At the close of the 5th round, my camp’s Disintegrator finally perished due to the consistent attack of the enemies’ Deep Lurker.

Sixth Round

The other player’s Disintegrator died in the opening of the 6th round. As usual, the destruction was started by Carnage Titan. As a result, another Melee attack was added to the four remaining monsters in my camp.

Seventh Round

With additional Melee, Carnage Titan singlehandedly slaughtered the most dangerous opponent in the enemies’ camp. With such a situation facing four strong enemies, what can a defenseless Cruel Sethropod do but follow his comrades to the other side with a single blow from Deep Lurker?
