Today I will share about impressive battle for this week.
Rule of this battle
1 Back to Basics
Monsters lose all abilities.
2 Lost Magic
Monsters with Magic attack may not be used in battles.
3 Fire & Regret
All monsters have the Return Fire ability.
Combination of these rules
This combination of the rule is very interesting.
Due to the lost magic, player wants to use ranged attack.
Due to the Fire & Regret, player want to avoid ranged attack.
Due to the Back to Basics, player focus on the basic status of the monsters.
My Strategy
At first glance, it may seem like the correct strategy for this battle is to only deploy melee monsters. However, consider this: Reflection against ranged attacks only deals half the attack power. Therefore, at least two units in the backline should be ranged attackers.
To check this strategy, please see this battle. My backline consists of ranged monsters, while the opponent's formation is composed entirely of Melee monsters.

MVP of this battle
This unit is very strong against return fire because of this 6 shield and 7 (6 + 1) health.
Also even number of ranged attack is goof since odd uumber of ranged attack is round up.
Conclude
Receiving reflected damage may feel like a loss, but you can understand ranged attack monster is better choice if you calcurate damage and feflected damage.
The charm of Splinterlands lies in the combination of complex rules. As the types of rules and cards continue to increase, I will forever be fascinated by the game.
