Sandworm may seem to be an ordinary worm to you. If you are new to splinterlands, the word legendary and epic might seem to appeal more but trust me, this ordinary worm has the power to turn the battle in your favour.
##What are the powers of the sandworm?
Sandworm has the sneak ability with which it can attack any monster from any position.
As you level up, it gets the snare ability too which makes it deadly for the flying monsters. The final touch is the pierce ability.

Tips for new players
Splinterlands is going global. So, you should be awarer that new players would keep joining and therefore playing daily. With each quest, more cards are being distributed and cards are fast running out. As you may be aware, the Untamed edition has been sold out. The present reqrd cards will soon be out of print and so, the sandworm too will be out of print which means the more you put off buying it to max or level up as the case maybe, the higher a price you will have to pay for a single card.
People usually think - Oh why should I pay for a reward card when I can get it by playing a quest but that will not always be true. With the introduction of potions and dec in the quest chests, cards are few and far between. So, hurry up and buy those cards.
