Die Battle Mage Secrets gehen in ein neue Woche. Dies bedeutet, es gibt wieder ein neues Ruleset das wir uns unter die Lupe nehmen. Diese Woche dreht sich alles um das Ruleset "Odd Ones Out". Ws es mit diesem Ruleset auf sich hat und wie es sich auf den Kampf auswirkt, schauen wir uns gemeinsam an.
The Battle Mage Secrets are entering a new week. This means there's another new ruleset for us to take a closer look at. This week it's all about the ruleset “Odd Ones Out”. Let's take a look at what this ruleset is all about and how it affects the battle.
1. Ruleset Odd Ones Out
"Odd Ones Out" bedeutet, dass nur Monster mit ungeraden Manakosten in Kämpfen eingesetzt werden können.
Dies hat Auswirkungen auf die zur Verfügung stehenden Monster im Kampf und die damit Verbundene Wahl der Strategie. Generell gehe ich persönlich etwas gelassener mit diesem Ruleset um. Ich entscheide mich für ein Element und suche mir anschliessend mein Team aus den Monstern die mir zur Verfügung stehen zusammen. In seltenen Fällen muss ich mich für ein anderes Element entscheiden, da ich nicht genug Auswahl habe oder nicht zufrieden bin. In der Regel kenne ich aber die Monster und weiss ungefähr, welche Monster bei den unterschiedlichen Elementen zur Verfügung stehen. Zumindest die wichtigsten kenne ich.

2. Battle Rulesets
"Ferocity" und "Fire and Regret" bilden zusammen mit dem Ruleset "Odd Ones Out" die drei aktiven Rulesets für diesen Kampf. "Ferocity" bedeutet, dass alle Monster die Fähigkeit Fury haben. "Fury" bedeutet, dass dieses Monster doppelten Schaden an Zielen mit der Fähigkeit "Taunt" verursacht. "Fire & Regret" bedeutet, dass alle Monster die Fähigkeit "Return Fire" haben. "Return Fire" bedeutet, dass Monster mit "Return Fire", wenn sie mit einem Fernkampfangriff getroffen werden, reduzierten Schaden an ihren Angreifer zurückgeben. Das Mana Cap liegt bei 38 und die Elemente Feuer, Wasser, Erde und Drachen sind aktiv und dürfen in diesem Kampf ausgewählt und gespielt werden.

“Ferocity” and ‘Fire and Regret’ together with the ruleset ‘Odd Ones Out’ form the three active rulesets for this battle. “Ferocity” means that all monsters have the Fury ability. “Fury” means that this monster deals double damage to targets with the ‘Taunt’ ability. “Fire & Regret” means that all monsters have the ‘Return Fire’ ability. “Return Fire” means that monsters with ‘Return Fire’, when hit with a ranged attack, return reduced damage to their attacker. The mana cap is 38 and the elements fire, water, earth and dragons are active and may be selected and played in this battle.

3. My Team
Für diesen Kampf habe ich mich für das Element Wasser entschieden. Possibilus the Wise wird mein Team als Summoner anführen. Er gibt all meinen Monstern +2 Leben und die Fähigkeiten "Reach" und "Trample". "Reach" bedeutet, dass Nahkampfangriff Monster mit der Fähigkeit Reichweite von der zweiten Position im Team angreifen können. "Trample" bedeutet, dass wenn ein Monster mit Trample sein Ziel mit einem Nahkampfangriff trifft und tötet, er einen weiteren Nahkampfangriff auf das nächste Monster im gegnerischen Team ausführt. 4. My Strategy
Hier sind meine Gedanken zur Strategie und Teamaufstellung.
Ich habe mich für das Element Wasser entschieden da ich mit Possibilus einen Summoner einsetzten möchte, der mein Team vor gegnerischen Melee Angriffen schützt. Des Weiteren gibt er meinem gesamten Team einen Bonus auf das Leben, wodurch ich mir einen Vorteil erhoffe. Ansonsten wird mein Team aus einer Mischung von Melee und Magie Monster bestehen.
Anfangen wird Mantaroth auf der Position 1. Er ist für diese Position perfekt geeignet und kann hoffentlich lange am Leben bleiben. Tide Biter wird von Position 2 aus in den Kampf gehen. Seine 3 Melee Angriffe, die ihre Ziel nicht verfehlen können, machen ihn sehr stark.
Merdaali Guardian wird auf Position 3 spielen. Sie unterstützt mein Team und gibt ihnen allen +1 Leben. Des Weiteren heilt sie nach jeder Runde zum Teil sowohl das Leben als auch die Rüstung des Monsters auf der ersten Position.
Musa Saline geht von Position 4 aus in den Kampf. Sie besitzt zwar nur einen Magie Angriff, jedoch bekommt sie jedesmal ein Leben hinzu wenn ein Monster eliminiert wird. Nerissa ist mit ihren 5 Magie Angriffen und 11 Leben eine Bestie. Sie darf deswegen auf keinen Fall in diesem Kampf fehlen und wird deshalb von Position 5 aus in den Kampf gehen.
Zu guter Letzt wird Angelic Mandarin auf Position 6 spielen. Auch wenn er durch das Ruleset nach jedem Fernkampf Angriff selbst Schaden zurück bekommt ist er dennoch wichtig, denn er reduziert den gegnerischen Magie Angriff um -1.
Somit ist mein Team vollzählig und bereit für den Kampf.

I decided on the element of water because I want to use Possibilus as a summoner to protect my team from enemy melee attacks. He also gives my entire team a bonus to life, which I hope will give me an advantage. Otherwise, my team will consist of a mixture of melee and magic monsters.
Mantaroth will start at position 1, as he is perfect for this position and can hopefully stay alive for a long time. Tide Biter will start the battle from position 2. His 3 melee attacks, which can't miss their target, make him very strong.
Merdaali Guardian will play at position 3. She supports my team and gives them all +1 life. She also partially heals both the life and armor of the monster in the first position after each turn.

Der Kampf wurde in der Diamond 1 Liga ausgetragen und der Gegner hat sich für die Drachen in Kombination mit dem Element Erde entschieden.
The fight was held in the Diamond 1 league and the opponent chose the dragons in combination with the element earth.

Die Strategie und die Teamaufstellung waren ein voller Erfolg. Mein Team hat es ohne Verluste durch den Kampf geschafft und dem Gegner keine Chance gelassen. In Runde 3 musste dieser sich geschlagen geben und mein Team konnte den Sieg einfahren.
The strategy and team formation were a complete success. My team made it through the battle without any losses and didn't give the opponent a chance. They had to admit defeat in round 3 and my team was able to clinch victory.
