Sorry to see you've run into this issue so many times. The game has experienced a sudden increase in popularity and players -- especially with the incoming Chaos Legion release -- so until the next major update it may strain during heavy-traffic hours from time to time. Once it even auto-surrendered me while I was choosing teams, which I just understood as my cue to take a break and return a few hours later when hopefully less people are playing the game.
