Here is my entry for this week's Splinterlands Art Contest found HERE!

From the Splinterlands Wiki:

The spreading blight on the continent of Praetoria twisted both the land and its people. Those nearest the poisonous gases and infernal heat of Mount Praetorous were corrupted and twisted. Their skin was singed, cracked, and lined with burn marks that never healed. They were left in a constant state of agony that slowly drove them mad. The corruption also granted them the ability to manipulate flames, and the Radiated Scorcher can use them to instantly destroy their opponents' armor.

For the background I just used AI-generative art (probably Night Cafe using the prompt "lava caves"). It was already low res but I blurred the heck out of it to make it look out of focus. The rest, as usual, was drawn in Clip Studio Paint Pro on a Surface Pro 4. Here is the timelapse video:
