Hello everyone, welcome to another post about Splinterlands. This will be a post about battle rules and this week's rule will be Little League. You will want to have a lot of low mana cost monsters because they will be your best allies in this rule.
What is the Little League Rule?
When the Little League rule is in battle it will only allow players to use cards that have 4 or less mana, this means that any card that costs more than 4 mana will not appear to be selected for battle, this includes monsters and summoners.
There are several combinations of cards that you can use in this rule, one of my favorites is using the earth deck with the summoner Mylor Crowling, it will grant the Thorns ability to all my monsters and as monsters with low mana cost usually have little life then will be a great choice to deal a lot of additional damage against monsters with melee attack.
To better explain my strategy with the Earth deck when the Little League rule is in battle, I will show it through a battle.

In this rule there is the Little League battle, it has 26 mana available and the earth, life and death decks.
My initial strategy was to use the earth deck with the summoner Mylor Crowling, this way I will have an advantage against melee monsters since they will take damage from the Thorns ability when they attack my monsters.
After having my deck and summoner chosen, I started selecting my monsters.
In the first position I selected Xenith Monk, he is a neutral deck monster that costs 4 mana, his attack is melee and he has the Heal ability that will make him regenerate part of his life 1x per round.
In the second position I selected Spirit Shaman, it is a monster from the earth deck that costs 4 mana, its attack is magic and it has the Divine Shield ability, it will receive 0 damage against melee, ranged and magic attacks in the first strike.
In the third position I selected Wood Nymph, it is a monster from the Earth deck that costs 4 mana, its attack is magic and it has the Tank Heal ability that will make it regenerate part of the life of your monster positioned in the first position 1x per round.
In the fourth position I selected Queen Mycelia, she is a monster from the Earth deck that costs 4 mana, her attack is magic and she has the Protect ability that will grant +2 shield to all her monsters while she is in the battle field.
In the fifth position I selected the Goblin Thief, it is a monster from the earth deck that costs 4 mana, its attack is melee and it has the Sneak ability that will make it attack the opponent's monster positioned in the last position.
In the sixth and last position I selected Uraeus, it is a neutral deck monster that costs 3 mana, its attack is melee and it has the Sneak ability that will make it attack the opponent's monster placed in the last position.
After having all my cards selected I was ready for battle and I chose a good balance between attack and defense.
After seeing my opponent's cards I had realized that I made the right choice, my summoner Mylor Crowling would be very useful since my opponent chose several monsters with melee attack and my defense was strong enough that my opponent would not break it, so after 3 rounds of powerful attacks i can finally defeat my opponent's last monster and achieve victory without losing any of my monsters.
Hi, I like "Mylor Crowling", nice battle.👍👍👍
