First off I want to lay down a little background info, you see a few weeks ago I almost quit Splinterlands, I am so glad I didn't! I think I was a bit disillusioned when I started playing. Having played Magic the Gathering for years I think I was expecting an experience comparable to Magic Online. I couldn't have been more wrong. I quickly became frustrated and with the BOT play exploding at the time I was getting pounded and winning a match seemed impossible. With no way to increase my collection power beyond spending a ton of money I basically gave up.
THEN the rental system came out! I moved some HIVE into the game and got some DEC to use for card rentals, in no time I was climbing through the ranks and finished that season at GOLD II. Wow, now to figure out if I am actually making back my rental investment?! Well after the daily quest and the seasonal rewards I was definitely ahead of the game so to speak. So this season I kept renting better cards as I progressed. The end result? I finished at CHAMPION III (hit the brick wall again there) and after some great quest rewards these 2 weeks I got to open today 80 Seasonal Reward Chests!!! Was it worth it? Well see for yourself!

I spent approximately $35.00 on the cards I rented so just the season rewards paid for the rentals AND gave a tidy profit. I didn't track the daily quest rewards but to my best guestimate, they came in at about $30-35 dollars. That makes for a little over $100.00 for a two-week period playing Splinterlands!!!
So ask me now if I am still thinking about quitting?! I don't think so!!!

OK so using that tool puts me at $122.00 for the season period and that is with cards at burn value!!! So at a low BCX market value, I would be over $200.00! That tool just made my whole day,. Thank you!
