I wish i could buy dino too. But i think i should focus now on spl assets like dec and sps they are onsale right now And your right, cards are a bit messy right now maybe its becos of the anti bot proposal. But i really believe in splinterlands we have strongest community than other web3 projects. Thanks for the recap, and im sorry because i always spam my ign on ur 100sps give away haha . Godbless to all of us

I don't really know if these partnerships are that good for splinterlands. They are probably much better for those other unknown games.

I have been buying some SPS with the hive I earn from posts and some other tokens to prepare for the SPS requirements.

I dont really know if it helps Splinterlands itself, when they have the partnership with DINO

The land buildings don't look really awesome honestly.

I have to say right now I am not that bullish for Splinterlands, when I see how other web3 games develop more like a game. But as long I have fun on playing Splinterlands, I will stay.

Thanks for the recap!

I think the partnership with chibi dinos will bring more benefits to GLS than splinterland. However, I don't think it's negative.

Thanks for the recap Steve,

user retention has been a long issue for Splinterlands that needs to be solved and I hope they find a way to onboard new players with their partnerships.

Thanks for the recap.

I like more partnerships (like with DINO) and leveraging a SDK (Software Development Kit) where Splinterlands can help other companies deploy a web3 game.

This was the purpose of GLS, and we are still waiting to see how that pans out and if other games are coming after "Goals" (aka American Soccer).

The card market is a bit of a mess but land is coming soon

I think market in general is a mess. Anyways it's good entry point for new players so hopefully they find ways to get new players in and retain them which they already acknowledged that this was an issue.

Thanks for the recap Stever! The eye candy from Nate was cool. The land buildings was a good taste, but we need more substantial land material to feed these cravings haha. Wish land 1.5 was here! ign: @hodlonius

thanks for the recap

i agree, retention is a hugh issue, should foucus on it rather than just issuing promo cards other other stuff

As always, thanks for the recap Steve. I don't get to watch it live, but it is nice to see the recap with your inputs. I have seen a lot of posts that our active players are getting lower and lower. The morale in the discord is also pretty low, with a lot more FUD than normal.

While the partnerships can be good, I feel like it coule be a distraction for now. We need to focus on our game first.

Great recap Steve! personally, I'm very excited with the direction the company is taking and onboarding web2 to web3!

Chibi Dinos looks like a fun game to play, very different from Splinterlands though so I am not sure we could bring tons of players from their side to ours but time will tell. In the meantime I cannot wait to see Land 1.5 to measure its impact on cards availability and DEC liquidity. IGN: cryptobeaver

I don't know about the partnership. It seems... irrelevant to Splnterlands. But I'm not a marketing expert, so who knows? 🤔

Can't wait for the land. And I guess a lot of people feel the same, because FOMO is real. Everyone selling their extra cards hoarding DEC, trying to prepare for the LAND.
At least that's how I interpret current market status..

Thanks for the recap!
Another interesting town hall.
User retention is a big topic and I hope they can improve that. A better mobile experience might be needed for that though.
@highhaschdi

Thank you once again for the SPS, greatly appreciated.

This market is a mess but I keep on accumulating for the longer term.

I like the idea that Splinterlands are looking to build the Web3 space for other games as it puts the name and grows awareness. I'd still like to see more done to retain new players. I remember my first experience of the game in the first day or two after purchasing some cards...very frustrating. It is a steep learning curve. Heck, I am still learning over a year later!

I hope some of the partnerships help...

I wish I could buy a lot of things but I can not afford them. I'm also on a rush to upgrade my deck to silver while prices are low. I will have to just watch on the sidelines for the chibi dinos. Thank you Stever as always, I love you brother.

@jhuleader

What are your thoughts on the sps staking announced? I'm willing to give it a chance, but I don't have high hopes.
