I think the DEC burning is a great way to get even more DEC off the market, and it has some use cases too in the form of the promised Guild Power feature. We will have to see if the price stays up there after all this is done ad concluded.

there are some I know that buys energy for diamond and champ so that they can achieved their chest quota but does not exceed the previous limit so probably won't be affected much by this changes in energy.
I think the "change grief" talk is just a way to dismiss criticism. At least, this time, he doesn't just call it salt, as he does with most criticism. We all knew SPS requirements were changing, but we were told they would be in line with tournaments. They aren't.
I really like the website of the new platform, wished the Splinterlands website would look that nice too.

Would this help with the HIVE token if new games are based on the HIVE blockchain? If so, do you believe HIVE might be a better play than even SPS/DEC? I know it not FA, but just wanted your view on this.
Pretty lackluster town hall it appears. I understand the motive behind introducing alpha for other games in production, but personally I would rather Splinterlands town halls be specifically rated to in-game topics. All other projects can be done on a separate town hall.
