The deck feature was not only good for it made renting cards easier. It also gives access on battle line- ups which one can use as reference to build their team depending on the rule set much like what bots can do but on a smaller scale and since it was human players that will take a look on it, they can still decide whether to use that or made an entire line up to counter that so the players can improve more to the game.
