Hello Splinterland friend, another week for a new rule challenge. What I can say about this weeks rule is that, less players are taking advantage of this specially average players like me who don't have much units with stun. But anyways this gives a big advantage incase you have those stun units.
It's hard getting this battle since I seldom appear on my battle, and after three days of battling ,finally it appeared.
Battle Conditions
Aside from the given rule challenge , this condition are available for the featured battle.
Blood and Sunder - all melee attack will remove two armor from attacker and will reduce max armor by 2.
Mana - 40 mana is given, a decent number that will allow picking of high and mid mana units.
Elements - Only Life and Dragon element is available, my favorite element is paired with dragon , that Iziar Line up is gonna po for sure.
Line Up Selection
- Quix - Since I will be using a magic line up, I will use quix to debuff any range damage that my opponent will use and also the reduction of speed is a big help.
- Pelacor Conjurer - my best low mana tank, with i'ts speed and Phase ability countering all kinds of attacks is possible .
- Djinn Renova - in using the Iziar line up she will be playing a very importatnt role to give Iziar a better sustain. Her damage is also a key factor for here being included in the line up.
- Iziar - my favorite taunt unit, her void ability allowing lower damage is a big help, but her Martyr ability is what makes her a very effective unit.
- Crystalsmith - the damage and her healing ability is a great support for my tank Pelacor.
- Adelade - to make Iziar more effective , the revive from Adelade will help activate the martyr ability of Iziar twice boosting stats of adjacent units.
- Spirit Hoarder - to give more sustainability to Iziar the triage of hoarder is a welcome addition, also the blind ability will make my tank more effective.
Battle Highlights
As expected all ranged and magic attacks are all directed to Iziar, and thanks to Renova and Spirit Hoarder, Iziar was able to take all the damage.
But whats unexpected is all attacks of Pelacor and Sunkai was able to connect to Conjurer. So the revive of Adelade is use for the conjurer
On the second round Iziar was eliminated due to high damage of the opponent archers, but that boosted REnova and Crystalsmith, allowing them to make revenge in the coming rounds
The main tank of the opponent is also eliminated now Conjurer will take all the damage, good thing it has the divine shield allowing it to take an extra hit
Luckily some of the opponent hits on the conjurer missed ,thanks to the blind ability of Spirit hoarder. Now it's up to the buffed renova to deal that massive damage to whoever stays in front .
With the enemy Renova gone, all thats left are just low health units and no more real tank to absorb those damage from my boosted units.
With the big health of Renova and the heal from crystalsmith she managed to tank all the damage thrown at her.
And at the end of the battle only Pelacor Arbalest remain, and as a range unit she can't do anything in the front line.
So that's another victory on the books.
