Namaste to all the citizens of Splinterlands!🙏

Today, I have crafted something extraordinary within the Splinterlands realm and in this week's 🌟Splinterlands Social Media Challenge,🌟 I'm going to talk about that very topic, which will be informative for all of you, especially new players, because this is how you can gradually improve your in-game ranking and move towards bigger rewards in Splinterlands.

Just this afternoon, I purchased a Gladiator Case from the Guild Store. Each gladiator case contains 5 random cards from the Gladius Gladiator set, with at least one guaranteed Rare Card or Better. Put that into the Mana Well to win 5 cards, in which I surprisingly got 2 Rares and an extraordinary Epic card. Gladiator cards are Soulbound, which means they can’t be traded, delegated, or sold. However, you can still convert them into Merits. But what I love is playing with them, although in Guild Brawls, you can play one Gladiator card per battle, and the 'Are You Not Entertained' ruleset lets you play two of these powerful Gladiator cards in each Guild Brawl battle and ONE in any Ranked or Tournament battle. Which can really help you strengthen your team and dominate the opponent, because these cards are really very powerful even at their level one, but imagine how great it will be when you can level up these cards and make them a part of your battle. This is today's Gladiator pack opening link.

This one exercise has resulted in my deck amassing 22 different cards from the Gladiator set, and almost all of them have excellent stats. Sometimes I find myself thinking that there are fewer opportunities to use them; otherwise, these cards would take no time at all to dominate and defeat the enemy in most cases.

But the extraordinary thing is that this time, I got a super epic card of the Death element from this Gladiator case called Trapp Falloway. Except for its decent health, its stats have everything you want from a ferocious card. As I understand it, I think that great speed, along with attack power, makes a card's power more effective because not only do you perform the attack first, but your attack's impact is also strong. If you notice, this card has a whopping 4 melee attack power, along with, I would say, 4 speed among the fastest. Apart from this, there is the Bloodlust ability, which gives this card +1 to all stats after every killing blow, and the Weaken ability, which gives all the cards in the enemy camp a shock of -1 health at the beginning of the battle. The cherry on the cake is its very low mana cost, which makes it suitable for almost every battle. The only factor that might make it a consideration for inclusion in a team is its health. Its low health makes it difficult to place on the frontline, and it can't perform anywhere else in the lineup without a special ability.

So, my strategy with this card might be to place a strong card with the Flank ability on the front line, and then put this card directly behind it. If a card with the Flank ability is in the first position, the second card gains the Reach ability. This single move will allow this gladiator card to be ready to perform an attack, and I can place a card with the Lookout ability directly behind it in the third position, with Lookout ability, adjacent units take 1 less damage from attackers with Sneak, Snipe, or Opportunity. Reduces damage from all enemy Ambush attacks by 50%. Or I would use the Protect ability to provide +2 armour to all allied cards in the lineup. Basically, as per my strategy, first, I would make sure that this card is attack-ready and second, I would try to protect and strengthen it as much as possible. However, given this card's attack power, in many cases, an enemy will be knocked out with just one or two attacks, after which, due to the card's Bloodlust ability, all of its stats will increase by +1, continuously strengthening it after each knockout. This would be my strategy with a rare Gladiator card. Perhaps more could be added to it and even improved.

In Splinterlands, you can't win a battle solely on strength; you have to be both powerful and clever. It's essential to understand the implications of the rules and carefully build your team, taking all factors into account. As you finesse your strategies with better cards, you'll find Splinterlands is an ocean of rewards and a lot of fun. The deeper you delve, the more you'll benefit from it.🔥
