Namaste to all the citizens of Splinterlands!🙏
In today's 🌟Splinterlands Social Media Challenge🌟, I'm going to share another amazing battle experience with you. In which I defeated an equally stronger opponent without losing a single card. This post will especially encourage new players to improve their strategies and get better at Splinterlands.

I am not a pro player myself, but I have been trying to explain to new players what I have learned so far and how I change and upgrade my strategies with the ever-changing weather of Splinterlands. In one of my recent Brawl battles, I even defeated a much stronger opponent that too without losing a single card of mine. Let's go straight to the battlefield!
The total mana cap for this battle was 39, and there are three rulesets in this battle: Target Practice, Beefcakes, and What Doesn't Kill You. My favourite of these is What Doesn't Kill You, as it grants melee attackers +50% extra attack power if the cards aren't at full health. But having powers isn't enough if you don't know how to use them to their full potential.

Knowing that rulesets have a 'what doesn't kill you' ruleset, I focused my team building on heavy and high-health melee attackers. High health allows them to withstand the enemy's initial attacks and still stand strong, and heavy attacking power so that their attacks have a bigger impact on the enemy, especially when a card is already injured, due to which the What Doesn't Kill You ruleset will be activated and they will be able to perform an attack 50% more powerful than their normal attacking power. I also added a card with the Inspire ability to the team, which increased the power of all allied melee attackers by +1. However, I was a little scared to see Quora Towershead on the opponent's team because this card can often be a big headache due to its healing ability.

By the end of the first round, no cards had been knocked out, but both of us had suffered some damage. My opponent probably didn't understand the third rule set properly, which is likely why his team only had two fully active melee attackers. Because my cards also had comparatively higher speed, my two key cards performed their first attacks at the beginning of the second round, knocking out two of the opponent's cards in quick succession.

And since the enemy no longer had that many heavy attackers left, the third round began with a series of deadly attacks, once again killing two more of my opponent's cards because they lacked the health to withstand my heavy attacks. And thus, I easily defeated an equally strong team without losing a single card.
One important lesson you can take from this battle is how much of a difference card selection based on a proper understanding of rulesets can make. If my opponent had adopted the same strategy and focused on heavy and strong melee attackers, the outcome of this battle could have been different. In Splinterlands, you can't win a battle solely on better cards; you have to be both powerful and clever. It's essential to understand the implications of the rules and carefully build your team, taking all factors into account. As you finesse your strategies with better cards, you'll find Splinterlands is an ocean of rewards and a lot of fun. The deeper you delve, the more you'll benefit from it.🔥
