Like multiple other card sets, Gladiator is a set that contains deadly cards of all rarities. I've been purchasing dozens of cards from this set from my Brawl Shop for quite some time now, and this process is ongoing. Although the cards from this set cannot be used in Modern Battle mode without the "Are You Not Entertained" ruleset, and I currently play there, this deck building will be very useful when I start playing Wild mode, as there will be no restrictions on the use of these cards there. That's why every time I accumulate enough merits, I purchase a Gladiator case and start extracting cards from it. Because I'm currently improving myself in this game. Once I have the confidence to play in Wild mode, I will shift from Modern to Wild mode.
So yesterday I purchased a Gladiator case again, and for the first time, I got three rare cards in one case. All three suit my battle style, and the good thing is that they all belong to three different elements, meaning they'll support me in different battle situations. Since all three are melee attackers, they obviously couldn't be used all at once in normal battle conditions, so having them from different elements is a good thing. Besides a card's attack power, another crucial stat is its health. All three of these cards come heavily loaded with health, making them a prime choice for tank placement in the lineup. However, if I have a card with a flank ability, I can place one of these cards in the second spot behind that card, allowing these deadly cards to be deployed onto the battlefield with protection. Furthermore, these attackers are also capable of performing well in the Trumple rule set. If the battle is played in the Melee Mayhem rule set, these and other deadly melee attackers can be deployed across the entire battlefield at once.
Overall, these cards can be used with various strategies, depending entirely on a player's understanding. For now, I'm only using these Gladiator set cards in Brawl's Battles and the "Are You Not Entertained" rule set in Modern Battle mode. However, today's deck building will be a great help when I start playing Battles in Wild mode, as there are no specific rules for using cards from this set there. So every step taken forward is not necessarily for today only.
I'm on a journey to constantly add new and better cards to my deck by shopping in the Reward Shop from time to time, because amazing cards like these are the best way to improve your strategies. because Splinterlands is no easy place, and that's what makes it even more fun.
