Namaste to all warriors of Splinterlands!
In this week's 🌟Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge🌟, we'll share a battle that taught us something different. It could be a new combo, a surprising ruleset, or an unexpected underdog that carried our team to victory. And I'll tell you about an amazing ability that, when used correctly, can give you a huge advantage on the battlefield. I hope you will enjoy reading this blog and will learn something useful.🔥

I've been using a different version of this ability since I first started playing the Splinterlands, called Kindred Spirit. It allows a card with this ability to have an adjacent Kindred Will ability card to gain the True Strike ability. My first purchase in Splinterlands was a grey card with this ability named Pallus. At the beginning of this season, I rented a card with the Earth and Life elements, which has the Kindred Will ability. According to this, the adjacent card with the Kindred Spirit ability gains the Ambush ability.
You see, these two cards are best friends, as their abilities strengthen each other.🔥 But to see how they play out on the battlefield, let's take a look at one of my battles from yesterday.

Above, you can see an ambush round, even though I haven't added a single card with an ambush ability to my team. This is the magic of the Kindred family bond. My 3rd-position card with the Kindred Will ability is granting ambush power to my 2nd-position Kindred Spirit card. Furthermore, I've given the frontline and last cards of this lineup +2 speed with the help of my Archon, giving my cards comparatively better speed, which is allowing my team the freedom to execute attacks first. But if you notice, the enemy and I are exactly equal in attack power, apart from this ambush attack, which allows me to pressure the enemy from the start.

The enemy's first card was destroyed by just three attacks, one of which was an Ambush and two other attacks, and here, two teams with roughly equal attack power initially, one gained the upper hand, thanks entirely to the surprise Ambush power that comes from the Kindred family bond.

And this was the end of another enemy card, that too in the first round. And it also included an attack from Pallus, who had already performed an attack once during the ambush. Furthermore, its elder brother, positioned right behind it, who possesses the Kindred Will ability, has gained the True Strike ability thanks to Pallus. You can see how deadly the 3rd-position card already is, and the True Strike ability confirms its impact.

Four enemy cards were knocked out without losing a single card of their own. Obviously, this wasn't just due to Ambush and True Strike, but rather the entire team's contribution. But you'll agree how important it is to apply pressure early on. A major reason my team didn't suffer any losses was that when selecting my team, I didn't focus solely on attack power, but also prioritised other stats, including good health. Furthermore, my team attacked only one card at a time, and because the attacks were so powerful, it became nearly impossible for the enemy card to survive. Clearly, I won this battle, but you can definitely learn something valuable from it by understanding how each stat and ability performed in different situations.
This was an example of the proper use of the card's powers. Beyond these abilities, these card's health, attack power, other abilities and speed are also quite impressive. Better speed gives you the opportunity to attack first. If your attacks are lethal, the impact of attacking first helps you build huge pressure on the enemy from the start of the battle, and higher health gives you the strength to remain on the battlefield for a long time, even while facing enemy attacks. Therefore, my cards were able to stay firmly on the battlefield, and they worked perfectly for my strategy. And the love this pair of Kindred Brothers showed for each other was really a surprise for me.
But above all, in Splinterlands, you can't win a battle solely on better cards; you have to be both powerful and clever. It's essential to understand the implications of the rules and carefully build your team, taking all factors into account. As you finesse your strategies with better cards, you'll find Splinterlands is an ocean of rewards and a lot of fun. The deeper you delve, the more you'll benefit from it.🔥
Here's the link to my battle today. Go watch it live and see how these two brothers lovingly strengthened each other and defeated the enemy.
