Splinterlands: Added a massive melee attacker to my deck!🔥

in Splinterlands15 hours ago

The day before yesterday, in a battle, I saw a brand new card Blue Wyrm Travesty on my opponent's team, equipped with massive melee attack power, something I'd never seen before. However, the card didn't perform well in that battle because my opponent had placed it second in the lineup, without reach or flank abilities, so it obviously wasn't possible for it to perform its attacks. However, its massive attack power, combined with its excellent speed, health, and Slow abilities, made it a powerhouse. Although its mana cost was quite high, including it in the team meant spending the mana cost of almost two cards on it alone. However, its stats were excellent without a doubt. That's why I decided to add this card to my deck. So I visited the market and discovered it was a common card. Learning it was a common card was shocking, as it has multiple amazing qualities.🔥

Another surprise was that this card was available at a very low price. Its Level 1 version was available for just $0.036 (54 DEC), which is literally very cheap. However, I want to have the Level 3 of this card instead of the Level 1 because this card doesn't have any abilities in its stats at level 1 and level 2; however, its attack power is 7 melee right from the first level. At the second level, it gets +1 health, and then when it upgrades to the third level, it gets its first SLOW ability added, which I definitely need in this card. The Slow ability reduces the speed of all cards on the enemy team by -1, which can be a big factor in giving you an edge in a battle. I wanted to use it as well because slowing down the enemy after improving your attacking abilities can give you a huge advantage in the game, and I had already seen the impact of this ability in a few previous battles. Additionally, at its max level, this card boasts a massive 9 melee attack power, 5 super speed, 5 armours, a whopping 12 health, and a new ability, Invigorate, which prevents allied cards from being exhausted.✌️

Although, as I said, this card is very cheap, still, as per my strategy, I also want to test any card before purchasing it, so I rented the Level 3 version for this season at only 20 DEC for ten days. So for now, this card is part of my deck. Soon, I'll tell you my experience with this card, including its performance and its pros and cons. Then, if everything goes well, I might even purchase this card next season.

Splinterlands isn't an easy place, but that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. That's why it's even more important to consider all these factors when developing a strategy. Add good cards to your deck, but also work on improving your strategies, and strive to win as many battles as possible!🔥
