During a battle I fought just today, I witnessed the Bloodline Tribute ability in action, and it sparked a brilliant idea. It all began at the end of the previous season when I rented a max-level Magic card, Zargrul. To effectively utilize it, I also required a max-level Archon; consequently, I rented Gorgug the Endless. With this, the primary objective of adding the Zargrul card to my deck was achieved; furthermore, thanks to its Painforge ability, the card grew even stronger from the Shocks inflicted by Shock Troopers, allowing it to dominate opponents. However, I then thought to myself: since I already possess a max-level Archon for this season, why not rent a few additional cards—also at their max level—that can synergize with and support it? The best candidate for this idea, in my opinion, was Ballista Deadshot. Although it is a Fire-element card and was already present in my deck (not as a card I purchased, but rather one delegated to me by another player), its extremely low Health stat meant it would typically get knocked out within the very first or second round. Now, however—thanks to the Taunt ability of the max-level Zargrul—incoming attacks from the opponent are diverted away from Ballista Deadshot. Moreover, when Zargrul is eventually knocked out, his Bloodline Tribute ability grants Ballista Deadshot a permanent +1 boost to all its stats. For this very reason, I felt compelled to acquire this card at a slightly higher level, thereby improving its Health stat and overall survivability.
Although this is technically a Fire element card, because it belongs to the same bloodline as my Archon, Gorgug the Endless, I am able to utilize it under normal conditions. Since my Archon has reached its maximum level, I could theoretically use this card at its maximum level as well; however, the card was not listed for rent at its max level. Consequently, I began searching for lower-level versions and eventually managed to find a listing for the card at Level 5. At Level 5, while its Attack Power stats remain unchanged, its Speed ​​increases from 2 to 3, its Armor goes up from 3 to 4, and its Health rises from 3 to 5—which was, in fact, the most crucial attribute for me. Additionally, it gains a new ability called "Dispel," which removes all magic buffs after every successful attack. Ideally, I would have preferred to acquire the card at its maximum level; however, there is no point dwelling on what isn't available. Thus, finding the Level 5 version to be quite satisfactory, I rented it for a period of 12 days at a cost of 5 DEC per day.🔥
With this new upgrade, the card had certainly become a cut above the basic standard; furthermore, to provide it with the best possible support, I also had a max-level Zargarul at my disposal. Zargarul's Taunt ability would serve to shield this card—as well as every other card in the lineup—from direct enemy attacks, thereby enabling this card to inflict even heavier damage upon the opponent. The Bloodline Tribute ability would bestow a bonus of +1 to all stats upon every card in the Orc bloodline whenever this card is knocked out; thanks to the Painforge ability, the card would strengthen itself using the shocks dealt by Shock Troopers; and finally, the Expose ability would function to strip away the enemy's immunity. All in all, this constitutes an excellent package, and I am now eager to witness its performance firsthand.
