I'll take you directly to the battlefield because there, by seeing all the cards, lineup, and ruleset together, you'll be able to understand their significance and teamwork better.

This battle has the Born Again ruleset. First and foremost, it's essential to understand the ruleset because, as I mentioned, everything from your card selection to your strategy depends on the rules of the ruleset. This ruleset primarily gives every card present on the battlefield the power to self-resurrect with 1 health and 100% armour.

By the way, if you want to study various rulesets, then from the battle page, go to How to Play and scroll down a bit, you will find a link named Combat Rules in the PREPARING FOR BATTLE section.

One important point to note in the ruleset is that when revived, cards will return to the battlefield with 1 health but 100% armour. This means that if the enemy relies heavily on melee attackers, your resurrected cards will still be able to fight on the battlefield for some time, thanks to their armour. This gave me the idea that for team building, I needed to prioritise heavily armoured cards with good attack power. However, there was another situation: the good cards in my deck had excellent attack power but lacked armour. To address this, I included a card with a protective ability in my team, which granted every card in the team +2 armour. Although after resurrection, the cards would revert to their original armour values (which wouldn't apply to non-armoured cards), it worked well for the cards that were already armoured. For example, when my tank card was knocked out and then resurrected, its health was only one, but its armour was still at its original 100%, which was 6.

In addition, to increase the power of the melee attackers in the team, I used the Inspire ability. This ability increases the attack power of every melee attacker in your team by +1 melee, after which even your seemingly ordinary cards are ready to launch powerful attacks on the enemy team. In such a situation, even if your cards face any retaliation, the impact of the attacks made by your cards is significantly greater.

Besides this, I always try to include some magic attackers in the team. Why? Simply because magic card attacks directly target health, which is a major headache for the opponent. And if your cards have a divine shield, then it provides another level of protection because it doesn't just retaliate against or hinder a particular type of attacker, but ignores the first attack performed by any type of attacker.

I also noticed that simple and sometimes seemingly insignificant abilities can be very helpful, such as the Weary ability that my tank had. Under this ability, at the beginning of round 1, the Weary card has a 10% chance to become Exhausted. This chance increases by 10% every round, up to a maximum of 80%. Exhausted units skip their turn and cannot retaliate. However, since it starts with a 10% chance, these cards often perform quite well before becoming exhausted. Similarly, the Flying ability, which gives cards with this ability a +25% chance to evade melee attacks (no effect if the attacker also has Flying and is immune to Earthquake), was also very useful. I used both of these abilities in this battle, which helped me ignore many of the enemy's attacks while inflicting significant damage on them.

So, to sum everything up, first, carefully read about the ruleset in the battle and how it can impact the game. I've provided a link above for detailed information about the rulesets. Then, try to build a strong team within that ruleset and allocated mana cap, including not only heavy attackers but also some extra layers of protection and abilities to enhance your cards' attack power, or cards that are already heavily armed. Also, unless there's a specific ruleset that works against magic cards, try to include at least one or two magic cards in your team, as their impact can be very useful. Don't worry about Thorns or any similar retaliation if your cards' attack damage is more than double the retaliation damage and you have a healer, because at the end of every round, the enemy will take more damage, and you'll maintain the upper hand. Instead of adding all six cards to your team, try to include the best cards in your team; the quality of your cards will build pressure on the enemy, not the quantity. And finally, try to enjoy the whole process as much as possible, because that's the ultimate purpose of this game.🔥

This is a journey of constantly adding better cards and adapting new strategies, climbing the ranks, and enjoying the game, because Splinterlands is no easy place, and that's what makes it even more fun. A perfect strategy takes into account many factors, including stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and more. Powers working in perfect synergy are what make a strategy successful, so add good cards to your deck, but also work on developing a better understanding of the rulesets and other in-game mechanics, and strive to win as many battles as possible. 🔥
