In today's 🌟Splinterlands social media challenge,🌟 I'm going to share another amazing experience with you. This is the first time I've upgraded a gold card by winning copies in-game without any additional investment. This post is especially meant to encourage new players to keep playing Splinterlands.
I am not a pro player myself, but I have been trying to explain to new players what I have learned so far and talk about every new feature and update from a different perspective for a long time. And in this regard, I always try to guide you about the game's Ocean of Rewards. Some people still think that this is a paid premium game, but this is completely wrong because Splinterlands is open to everyone. Even if you don't want to purchase Spellbooks, you can still enjoy the game just like I or any other player. The only difference is that by purchasing Spellbooks, you will be connected to the game's economy, and your rewards will also be added with real monetary rewards like SPS tokens, which is amazing in itself. Well, I have purchased the spellbook and after that one time investment, it is completely my choice whether to shop for cards or not but still, with the glint rewards that I get after winning every battle, I used them to purchase different kinds of draws every time and because of them, copy by copy, I won many cards and also leveled them up and one of them is my first gold card which is ready to be upgraded to level 4 today.
Halaran Huntress is an Earth element card, and this one is particularly a gold card. You can see its current level 3 stats and abilities on the left side, which is already quite impressive for a card that costs only 4 mana. If you've played even a few battles in Splinterlands, you'll have an idea of how big a role such cards can play in low mana battles. Although its health is a minor disappointment, its flying ability allows it to evade physical attacks with a 25% chance, which helps protect this card somewhat. But because of its charge ability, you can keep it attack ready while still placing it somewhere safe in the lineup. And having 2 melee attack power at such a low mana cost, that too with 3 speed, is rare in itself. And now, by upgrading it from Level 3 to Level 4, I'm going to get +1 Speed to its stats. Its Speed, already a rarity among cards of this mana cost, will now increase by +1, making this card even faster than before. And you must have understood how important it is to be fast in Splinterlands.
Imagine how many copies I needed to upgrade a card to level 4. And I was able to do all of this while simply enjoying the game. However, in Splinterlands, you can't win a battle solely on better cards; you have to be both powerful and clever. It's essential to understand the implications of the rules and carefully build your team, taking all factors into account. As you finesse your strategies with better cards, you'll find Splinterlands is an ocean of rewards and a lot of fun. The deeper you delve, the more you'll benefit from it.🔥
