Splinterlands: Day 7 - Bronze II League Reached at The End of The Past Season & The Beginning of New One

in Splinterlands3 years ago

By the end of the past gaming season, we managed to enter the Bronze II league, and instead of only 5 Loot Chests, we received 7 of them, as our help request was granted by a friend who sent some highly powered monster that helped us jump into that higher league.

End of Season 1 - Loot Chests

As you may see, those end-of-season rewards were not bad at all. We've got 31 DEC tokens in total, 2 potions (1 legendary and 1 alchemy) and another two cards, entirely new to us.

Djinn Chwala

Djinn Chwala is our first epic card and our first card from the Dragon Monster collection that added 100 power to our account.

It appears as a quite valuable one, as it's selling on the market for $3.58 what would be almost 660 DEC at the time of this writing.

It has an extra damage back ability when hit with a melee attack.
Like Pelacor Mercenary that we received yesterday, Djinn Chwala is one of the more Mana costly cards (8) with a lower speed (2). Still, besides two melee attack power, it has a respectable toughness with 5 shields and 9 in health.

Charlok Minotaur

Charlok Minotaur is a reward, a common card from the Fire Monster collection. It brought an additional value of 10 to our power, while on the market, it could be found for $0.17 or about 30 DEC.

Although it's one of the slowest cards with only one speed at its first level or two speeds even at its maximum level, the card has a special ability called "True Strike."

True Strike should mean that this monster, despite its low speed, can not miss! Combining this special ability with its 3 melee attack power and 10 in health, I would dare to assume that this monster can be quite a threat to enemy battle lines if placed wisely.

The Beginning of New Season

As with every other player who ended the previous season in the Bronze II league, we started a new one with the season rating reset on 100 points.

Keeping in mind that we managed to reach the rating of 631 points in the just past season in less than a full week, I thought getting back there and progressing further would be a piece of cake.

Oh my, oh my, how wrong I was!?!
(It seems like our famous 140,642nd place in the past season wasn't that famous at all.) 😜

End Season 1 - Leaderboard

However, the new season started for us with the toughest 43 battles ever since, among which only 15 of them were wins while the remaining 28 were losses.

What can I say?! Pure disaster! Not to mention that by playing all these battles to complete the daily quest, which brought us just some lousy, disappointing potion, I also significantly drained our capture rate percentage. Better and better!

Relieved when the daily quest was finally completed, I ran out from the game, leaving us with the following playing summary results.

Day 7

I love you all, but please don't talk to me today! 😉😁
