Ita been a while since I took part in the @splinterlands weekly SHARE YOUR BATTLE CHALLENGE, so long im fact, that im going to aay its been well over a year now...
Thats not to say ive ever walked away from the game, I still play daily, its just i havent got around to posting as frequently as id like, but since the start of the new year, ive upped my blogging schedule and its given me more opportunities to write about #splinterlands.
DRAGONS..... Who doesnt love a dragon? Creatures of myth and legends, as a proud Welshman, we even have a dragon on our national flag, so it seemed quite fitting to get back on it this week by using some impressive dragons.
Dragon summoners are a little but special in the game of splinterlands. You see, they have the ability to not only summon their fellow scaley serpents, but any other one ELEMENT in the game and combine the strengths of the two factions in one battle.
My absolute favourite, and go-to dragon summoner is the cool looking Daria Dragonscale. Im personally packing a lvl5, Epic Daria, but my current silver level brawl limits her summoning to just lvl3 monsters.
Daria is the only Gloridax summoner who is also a member of the elite Dragonsguard. Not only is she trained to summon the largest and fiercest Dragons, but she is herself proficient in all the arts of war. Daria is clever, quick, and beautiful. Though she carries the purest Fire Blood, she refuses to take a mate.
Splinterlore
Silver league does somewhat hinder her summoning abilities, but shes still good for calling some pretty decent monsters with some cery good abilities.
With the battle rules drawn out and the match MANA CAP set at 28, I went about building the best team I could think of with this post in mind.
You can watch the battle playout HERE. Although our summoners were the same level and our monsters pretty evenly leveled too, the battle itself was very one sided.
I definitely had the speed on my side, with my "sacrificial" Brownie in the tank position. I was hoping his + 1 speed would see my opportunistic attackers set off first and i was correct. They did damage and took out what they could early. I was hoping that maybe he could dodge a few attacks, but alas he got taken out first round too.
Not to worry, the strong Manticore works both well with reach or as a makeshift tank. Round by round my dragons fought bravely. The Manticore, Dragon jumper and fire spiter all landing heavy and deadly blows and the battle progressed.
Victory seemed inevitable, and it was. By round 3, the opposition was decimated and left in tatters. Looks like Mele overcame magic this time and with a bit to spare too.
The battle was a bit one sided, and i always like to take something from each battle and add a little bit more knowledge to my battle skills. It was a decent side, but lacked a strong tank.
In the end i came out victorious and comfortably so, but if then opponent had given his team a little tweek, it could so have gone a different direction. I would have like to have changed the tank out for somethi g a bit stronger, but then it would have meant substituting another monster to accommodate more mana points.....
Would you have changed anything in this lineup? Please, always let me know, its how i improve my game strategies and techniques.
