Some battles in Splinterlands feel lost before they even begin. I clicked into a match today and instantly felt that feeling and i jut felt, aint no way im gonna win this match up, but nonetheless i really trust my water element, epecially because of the enhanced magic or added magic boost i usually get and so I actually won this match up.

I've also noticed whenever the mana i high around 50 and above i usually win the matches, but anytime my mana is below 30 or is even in the 20's i just know im gonna lose, i guess this is because my stronger cards do cost alot of mana and without them i'm worse off. Like the battle picture above, i just knew i was gonna win, no doubt and I did, in short i just skipped the battle to the victory part.

The moment I saw the Poison clause,i'd registered another loss already. Poison tends to punish slow or low-health units, and my lineup didn't look like the kind that could survive an extended toxic slugfest. At first, I thought it was a bad matchup against his high-survivability cards and earth ability which gives a plus on health. As the turns progressed, poison did what it does best equalized everything. Every round stripped health across the board, and suddenly, In a normal fight, this would have been his win but it was down to two cards and lets just say that i got the last laugh.
