The library was silent, until one book sighed. I was surprised, of course. I'm the librarian, and I thought all the books had gone to sleep, but there it was again, on the edge of its shelf: “The Self-Help Book.”
I approached it to ask about the sigh, and it told me it was very sad because people don't read books anymore. It was covered in dust, and the poor thing couldn't remember the last time it was in someone's hands.
I told him not to worry, that soon someone would take a look at its pages again. I said this to cheer him up and wished him good night.
Honestly, I was sad too. It seemed that people were no longer interested in reading books... But luckily, I was wrong.
A couple of days later, a young man came to the library to find answers in a particular book. By pure chance, among all the books, he chose the one that wanted a little attention. When he opened the book, it finally felt happy and appreciated after so long.
