On the first day of June vacation, she discovered a postcard addressed to her from the same beach - dated ten years in the future.
Upon glancing at the letter, it read:
"This will be the best vacation of your life, just remember to wear sunscreen. It's not advice, it's a warning. You might think this is a joke, but I assure you it's real, and I am you. To leave no doubt, I'll tell you that on the day you receive this postcard, your brother will play a nasty prank on you by putting glue in your comb. You might wonder how receiving a letter from the future is even possible; I'll just say, "Time Machine."
