It’s midnight, and I am the only passenger left on the train. The conductor walks down the aisle and whispers, “Your stop doesn’t exist anymore.”
Confused, I replied, “What do you mean?” I didn't expect the conductor response, “The train has arrived at its new destination,” he said in a robotic voice that caused interference. At the same time, the train stopped.
When I got off at the station, what I saw left me paralyzed. High technology dominated the landscape; every step on a shiny metal surface left me dazzled. The buildings I always looked at from afar became giant skyscrapers that projected colossal holograms, rising toward the sky. Flying vehicles floated through the air; it was a futuristic dream.
It was the year 2500, and I was a stranger in a world I could never have imagined.
Panic overwhelmed me. I ran back to the train to find the conductor and begged him to take me back to my time. But his response was clear and cold: “The train only travels forward into the future.” A void took hold of me. I was trapped in this unknown time, unable to return home.
But I couldn't lose hope. In the midst of my panic, I suddenly thought, “Maybe in this era there is another time machine, another way to return to the past.”
With determination and fear in my heart, I ventured into the bustle of the city, ready to explore the secrets of tomorrow and discover the way back.
With every step I took, fear turned into curiosity. The unknown could be terrifying, but it was also exciting. An adventure waiting to be experienced. And so, as the city lights twinkled like stars, I embarked on a journey into the unknown, ready to reveal what the future had in store for me.
