Hello great friends on hive,
knowledge is power and education is one of the ways to acquire knowledge.
It is one of the major keys our kids needs in today's world.
It may be by any of the methods wether home schooling or traditional schooling.
Looking at home schooling,it may be popular because alot of parents really wants the best for their kids and themselves and they are willing to go extra miles to see it happen.
Especially, for parents who really wants to be in control of their kids education,
they limit their kids within the walls of their home and a teacher may be paid to teach their kids physically or through online or better still, they may choose to educate their child personally.
This gives the parents control over their kids education and life in general.
it's easier for them to notice their child's strength and to work on their childs weaknesses.
But if am a child what would i prefer?
I wouldn't think for a seconds,i would choose traditional schooling,
Because it exposes a child to other sphere of life.
This includes meeting different kids from different families and religion, different personalities.
These i believe shapes a child's life into a unique personality.
There are a lots of things kids can learn in traditional school apart from academical subjects and I believe it is a plus compare to home schooling.
**- Social skill: **traditional schooling helps in the development of a child's social skills through interactions with others,how to talk to people,how to be responsible in the society,how to make and maintain good friends.
- Team work: it may be difficult for a kid to understand team work in home schooling, because teamwork is more practical than just words.
It is an interaction with others to get a work done , through peace, understanding
- Leadership:A child can simply develop confidence and good in leadership when tasks are assigned to them through team work.
learning to be bold in front of other kids plays a major in their mentally.
- Management: Kids needs to be taught how to balance schoolwork and play time, how to be able to meet up deadlines for their homeworks,how to have fun with their peers and maintain Friendships.
Social skills, teamwork, leadership and management are very useful in real life's challenges every child needs to learn and it's easier to learn it as a team.
I believe kids are always so curious and home schooling will raise a child's curiosity to what the other side of education is without the feelings of satisfaction whereas, traditional schooling helps a child to meet and explore many aspects of life.

Homeschooling is good, because you get to pay better attention to that one kid. And for the most part, because you learn what method best works for that child, you are able to teach him/her better and they learn faster.
But then, it doesn't cover every other facet that traditional school does. There's more to learn that just the subjects taught. So I agree with you
