Último deseo

hands-2906458_640.jpg

English Version:

Last wish

hands-2906458_640.jpg

A shy mime that shatters all certainty,
embrace my now defunct and struggling glory,
I am nothing but dust and mist of what I was,
I feel the breath of time on my neck,
that makes me lose myself in my own darkness.

My immobile arms feel anesthetized,
betrayed by the lack of strength of my whole being.
I am like a dying king, destined to be forgotten,
just waiting for the moment to rest on my lawn,
To forget all the injustice and pain that I have witnessed.

Today I want to ask you for forgiveness on my deathbed,
I should have loved you much more before I left,
scattered on this bed I only ask for your hand,
every divine touch of your skin fills me with hope,
That is why I only ask the creator to give you more life and no regrets.
