¿Les cuento un secreto? (ESP/ENG)

Here among us, horror movies and stories call my attention, although I am not an expert on the subject, far from it.

Of those terrifying stories, one of the ones I liked the most was, without a doubt, It, by horror genius Stephen King.

For those who don't know what the book is about, it basically talks about a creature that stalks a town in Maine called Derry, causing death and pain every 27 years, being children its main prey.

I will try to be brief, and that is that It by Stephen King is one of the few books that have hooked me to the point of making me read them more than once.

Stephen King manages to write books that portray the everyday as disturbing and unsettling.

What is fascinating about this book is how the antagonist, It or Pennymise, torments the protagonists, a club of kids called the Losers Club, using their own fears against them, materializing their deepest traumas.

Pennywise is one of the most fascinating fictional creatures I have ever met, not only because of his particular way of stalking his prey, but also because of all the mystery that surrounds him, since we don't even know exactly what he is. It's not for nothing that the Losers called it "It", "a thing", a name that fits it like a glove.

I will always love that kind of psychological horror, because it's a different kind of horror that you get used to.

As far as the movies are concerned, two were made: one in 1990 and a more recent one in 2017.

Regarding the 2017 one, in my opinion, spectacular. Bill Skarsgård did an incredible job in the role of Pennywise, getting fully into the role of the demonic clown, giving us a violent, sinister, and bestial clown, worthy of remembering.

As for the previous one, from 1990, of which I barely know, the little I saw of Tim Curry's performance in the role of Pennywise seemed spectacular to me. Giving us a less violent clown than Bill, and instead gives us a Pennywise a little more charismatic and cheerful, making it impossible for his prey to suspect that it is a trap.

Well, I told you a little about the books and movies of It, more than anything the main antagonist, tell me, what did you think? anything to contribute?
