¿Por que no me ayudaste? (ESP/ING)

Agustin walks quietly through the halls of his university, wondering what he would do with his life in the long run, the usual, Agustin since time immemorial questioning things that others do not waste time wondering about.

![books-g60570a220_1920.jpg]()

After continuing to ponder the matter, Agustin decides to leave the university and walk to his apartment.

It's a small apartment really, with barely enough space for one person to live in, and that's fine with Agustin, a single person doesn't need that much space.

As he walks he wonders if he should bring flowers for his date tomorrow, Winona is not a woman who demands too many details, but anyway it's not out of place to make her smile with a little gift.

As she walks along, she hears something that chills her blood.

A desperate cry, as if someone was trying to break free but not succeeding, a malicious laugh. Something is not right, not at all.

Agustin turns his head in the direction of those disturbing sounds, and what he sees leaves him frozen: it is a woman, apparently young, being stabbed by a large but difficult to identify guy. The guy is wearing a gag, dressed entirely in black, and his shoes are black as well. There is no way to identify him like this.

Agustin is left wondering what to do, it's not every day you witness a crime that you know exactly what to do. This is a situation for which Agustin never prepared himself.

Maybe he should go to help her, or maybe... taking advantage of the fact that the criminal has apparently not noticed his presence, Agustin walks away and leaves the scene.

Trying to help her could make things worse, he could end up dead too. It is better to leave it at that.

Agustin enters his apartment, pensive about what just happened, what he had just allowed, to finally sleep after thinking about it so much.

...

Two days passed since the incident happened, and Agustin kept wondering about it. He was so worried about it that he did not realize that one of his co-workers at the pizzeria was trying to tell him something.

![pizzeria-g099210af3_1920.jpg]()

-He hears his friend from work, Jessica, shouting his name to get his attention.

-I'm sorry, did you say something?

-You're more distracted than usual today, is something wrong?

-I'm fine, thank you," Agustin thinks for a moment, "Do you happen to know anything about a crime that was recently committed?

Jessica thinks about it- Now that you mention it, yes, there was a murder recently, James Sandler brutally murdered a young woman named Barbie McCall.

Jason swallows hard.

-Poor girl, did they catch the guy in question?

-Fortunately yes, the police managed to locate him thanks to a witness, and he's being questioned right now.

-We have to be thankful that at least that nightmare is over.

-Agustin, there's something else I haven't told you: it seems that the girl was also raped.

Agustin is speechless when he hears those words, and it takes him a few seconds to react -What?

-It seems that the bastard wasn't satisfied with just murdering her.

At that moment a customer arrives, taking Jessica's attention while Agustin is stunned thinking about what just happened.

...

Agustin has not been able to sleep and it is almost 2:00 am.

What Jessica revealed to him keeps him awake and the guilt eats away at him. Jessica was raped... and he was able to stop it from happening.

As he writhes in bed with uneasiness, Agustin feels a strange breathing that makes his hair stand on end.

![comic-g42a62f930_1280.png]()

Frightened, Agustin turns to see who or what it might be, and gets an unpleasant surprise: it was the girl, Barbie McCall, with her face all messed up, mangled as if she had been savagely stabbed, wearing a macabre smile that Agustin doesn't like at all.

-Why didn't you help me, Agustin? Before Agustin can even think of an answer, Barbie throws herself on top of him, tearing off part of his cheeks with her teeth. She then proceeds to forcefully cover his mouth.

-You won't scream for help, just as I couldn't scream for help.

![zombie-g61ad81bd9_1920.jpg]()

Agustin tries to scream in desperation, to see if someone can come to his rescue, but Barbara's strong grip blocks the sound.

Barbara smiles in amusement-Now you will think twice before continuing to walk away when you have to help someone.
