La evolución de enfermería forma parte de la aplicación del conocimiento científico en dónde se pueda describir el estado actual de salud en qué se encuentra el paciente, en ella podemos reflejar su evolución desde el ingreso hasta el alta médica.
La evolución se realiza a través del plan de cuidados, actividades realizadas para mejorar la salud y consigo mismo examen físico que puede ser cefalocaudal o por sistemas, es importante registrar cada procedimiento y acciones de forma ordenada.
Es un registro que posee validez legal ante una situación irregular en ella solo se debe plasmar las actuales condiciones en qué se encuentra el paciente y las acciones que están por realizarse indicadas por el médico, debe realizarse por turnos en mi servicio es normativa escribir con lapicero tinta negra turno de la mañana, tinta azul turno de la tarde y tinta roja turno de la noche.
