A través de mi arte fotográfico he buscado darle un lugar a la mujer, viéndola desde diferentes fasetas, en diferentes proyectos he buscado mostrar a la mujer con todo su potencial, con todo aquello que en ocasiones pasamos desapercibido.
Through my photographic art I have sought to give a place to women, seeing them from different perspectives, in different projects I have sought to show women with all their potential, with everything that sometimes goes unnoticed.
Considero importante que esos espacios que se vayan dando en el mundo del arte sean desde otras mujeres, es necesario reconocernos desde nuestras verdaderas necesidades, no desde la visión que la sociedad tiene de la mujer, una visión sesgada creada desde la parte masculina sin incluir realmente el verdadero poder, talento, capacidad que tenemos todas las mujeres.
It is necessary to recognize ourselves from our true needs, not from the vision that society has of women, a biased vision created from the male side without really including the true power, talent and capacity that all women have.
Cada día desde mi espacio, desde mi lente, desde mis redes sociales, en reuniones busco la manera de hacerle llegar a otras mujeres el mensaje poderoso de vernos, de valorarnos, de darnos nuestro lugar sin esperar a que nadie más lo haga, este trabajo de visibilizarnos en los diferentes espacios que habitamos y roles que tenemos se hace indispensable que dejemos nuestro mensaje.
Every day from my space, from my lens, from my social networks, in meetings I look for the way to make other women get the powerful message to see us, to value us, to give us our place without waiting for anyone else to do it, this work of making us visible in the different spaces we inhabit and roles we have, it is essential that we leave our message.
La mayoría de estos proyectos visuales han salido principalmente en mis redes sociales, luego de allí he buscado la manera de llevarlos a espacios físicos. Las presentaciones que he realizado han sido con proyecciones digitales, entendiendo que en su momento se me dificultó económicamente realizar impresiones de gran formato de mi trabajo fotográfico.
Most of these visual projects have been published mainly in my social networks, then from there I have looked for ways to take them to physical spaces. The presentations I have made have been with digital projections, understanding that at the time it was economically difficult for me to make large format prints of my photographic work.
De mujer a mujerLuego decidí llevar este trabajo de mi línea sobre la mujer a un formato audiovisual llamado "De mujer a mujer", y acá en la plataforma de Hive lo ajusté a un podcast, gracias a #3speak. Realicé grabaciones a través de zoom de encuentros con otras mujeres donde hablamos de arte, de sueños, proyectos y vidas reales, honestas con aspiraciones por un mundo más equitativo a nivel de género.
