Is there a convenient way to see stats around the dao? leaderboards for both out and in, status of top x proposals.. that kind of thing?

As far as I know there's no tool to keep an eye on historical DAO stats.
You can track the payments each hour on a block explorer (https://hiveblockexplorer.com/@steem.dao), but some more historical statistics would be interesting. Maybe something for my to-do list... :-)
