I think eccency stopped the "boost" section of the app, and I believe this actually halted the usage of the app. I might be wrong, but I think that boost section was used quite well in 2022

Now you can use Points for Boost+ and receive a 200 HP DELEGATION from Ecency and all posts published using Ecency are reviewed for curation votes, with no need to spend Points.
