Do we have a rich list somewhere?
yes here
Thanks!
Hive is really pulling away when it comes to commenting, but still struggling to increase the active users. I sometimes offer to create accounts on Twtr, but not getting many takers. We need some good marketing. However, we did gain a new whale recently. We need more people with that confidence.
The "active users" here doesn't account for any of the custom_json
Splinterlands, dcity, rising star, crypto brewmaster, holybread, piggericks.... there is a significant amount of Hive utilization not reflected in this reporting. Steem remains a blogging chain, but Hive is evolving
According to this Hive is exceeding a millions transactions per day, but they are missing Steem stats lately. I think Hive has a place as a blogging platform, despite some users trying to put others off, but it can be much more than that.
I agree - I am not in favor of removing blogging or pushing people away from it. A decentralized system needs a communication platform inherent to its base layer that rewards with the governance token. We can do all these other things without removing the blogging AND we can let it happen organically as it is now. Free market principles, right? If people have a compelling use case in addition to blogging, then users will spend their time and money on it... we just need reporting to catch up with it now :)
