Do you remember the first part? Probably the biggest, realistic RPG in real Europe (something cool for those people who loved The Witcher 3 for its originality compared to other games, the Czech Republic is similar to Poland) will get its sequel. Premiere at the end of this year on PC, PS5 and Xbox. Apparently this time the game doesn't make any compromises like the previous one. If only it was a little easier. In a sense, it doesn't have to be very simplified, just more accessible.

The game's creators have released an annual plan in which they alternate paid add-ons with free ones. The free ones are, of course, little crap, but we always get something there. I hope more companies will follow their example. Or Age of Empires 2, as I mentioned in a recent text about The Witcher (the point is that CDPRed has made tools available for amateurs modding the game). I will be happy to buy a DLC for my favorite game once a year, which will develop it a bit. It will add new maps, a new civilization / faction (as we are talking about RTS games), some crap.

Rotfl, I'm shocked. A few weeks ago I was talking to some friends who, like me, have been playing Blizzard games for a very long time. I was sure they would do something about it. And they have something to do, I don't know what the current trend is, but recently WoW saw a large exodus of players. I'm not even mentioning the sexual harassment scandal and the resulting poor PR. This surprises me even more because Blizzard still has strong and recognizable brands in the world (and certainly in Asia and Europe). Diablo, StarCraft, WarCraft, even their new FPP or Hearthstone can still be developed.

We got a trailer and posters advertising the Transformers prequel. I was skeptical about this project when I watched the trailer, but after getting used to the atmosphere and character models, I thought it was a good idea. The brand needs new projects that will be different from previous adaptations. A comedy aimed at younger audiences is a good idea - recognition is built on various genres, and comedies are widely liked. And we don't have many productions (comics for sure, but I don't read them) in which we see the past of Megatron and Optimus Prime. The film with Lastairbender was supposed to appear in October 2025, but it was postponed to January 20, 2026. Transformers, in turn, will appear in cinemas a week later than originally expected.

Mam nadzieję, że więcej firm pójdzie ich przykładem. Albo Age of Empires 2, o czym wspominałem w niedawnym tekście o Wiedźminie (chodzi o to, że CDPRed udostępnił narzędzia dla amatorów modujących grę). Z przyjemnością kupię sobie raz na rok DLC do mojej ulubionej gry, który nieco ją rozwinie. Doda nowe mapy, nową cywilizację / frakcję (jak mowa o grach RTS), jakieś pierdoły.

Rotfl, jestem w szoku. Parę tygodni temu rozmawiałem z kilkoma kolegami, którzy podobnie jak ja, bardzo długo grają w gry Blizzarda. Byłem pewny, że coś z tym zrobią. A mają co robić, nie wiem jaki jest obecny trend, ale niedawno temu WoW zaliczał duży exodus graczy. O aferze z molestowaniem seksualnym, a co za tym idzie kiepskim PR nawet nie wspominam. Tym bardziej mnie to dziwi, bo Blizzard nadal ma silne i rozpoznawalne marki na świecie (a na pewno w Azji i Europie). Diablo, StarCraft, WarCraft, nawet ten ich nowy FPP, czy Hearthstone można nadal rozwijać.

Komedia skierowana do młodszych odbiorców, to dobry pomysł - rozpoznawalność buduje się na różnych gatunkach, a komedie są powszechnie lubiane. No i nie mamy zbyt dużo produkcji (komiksy na pewno, ale ja ich nie czytam), w których widzimy przeszłość Megatrona i Optimusa Prime'a. Film z Lastairbender miał się pojawić w październiku 2025, ale został przesunięty na 20 stycznia 2026. Transformers z kolei pojawią się w kinach tydzień później niż pierwotnie zakładano.

Co prawda finalnie nie skończyłem go oglądać, ale nie dlatego że był słaby. Po prostu nie mój klimat. Szkoda, że zdjęcia do S2 OP ruszą dopiero w 2025... Czyli długo sobie poczekamy na Smokera.
