Well, the Titans WON a game! They will not go winless!
I am happy, but oddly not that thrilled. The Cardinals really choked that game away big time and the Titans also got lucky big time. Truly comical errors on Cardinals part. Their running back dropped the ball before a touchdown causing a touchback, the Cardinals center snapped a ball directly into Kyler Murray's face causing a lost fumble, and the Titans scored a late touchdown on a miraculous play where Cam Ward threw a pick, that was then fumbled, and was then recovered by the Titans in the endzone.
So yeah definitely fairly fluky stuff but sometimes ya gotta get lucky in life and in football.
To the Titans credit, they fought hard and never quit and a part of football is being disciplined and organized which the Cardinals were not. So that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes. In addition regarding the interception/fumble, the Titans were at least in position, deep in Cardinals' territory and so they were in position to score on said fluky play. So, it's sorta a case of hard work meeting opportunity...kinda.
I'm not sold the Titans are about to have some grand turnaround of their season but who knows. Sometimes just tasting victory can cause a good domino effect. Time will tell.
But hey, it was still really nice to see them get a W and as a fan I am grateful!
