Empaques para San Valentín (ESP-ENG)

Estoy feliz de estar en esta maravillosa y creativa comunidad de Hive Arte. En esta ocasión quiero enseñarles cómo intervení unos empaques para San Valentin. Estos empaques son para un emprendimiento de postres: hay algunas cajas y otros porta galletas.

Use pintura acrílica para intervenirlos. Me habían solicitado que no fueran solo corazones, así que aproveche y pinte manchas y flores. La paleta de colores tampoco fue rosa en su totalidad, llevaba tonos de rojo, coral, durazno, amarillo y tonos morados. Me daba un poco de miedo con las flores porque no es algo que haga frecuentemente con pintura. Confieso que amé el resultado inicial de las flores. No use un solo color, sino que con el pincel tome varios colores sin mezclarlos y eso dio como resultado unas flores moteadas, donde cada una es totalmente diferente a la otra.

Una vez que pinte las bases de todas las cajas (deje que secara toda la noche), use marcadores de pintura acrílica para hacer detalles como bordes, líneas, hojas, lettering, doodles. Añadi detalles en tonos azul bebe y turquesa, asi como otro tono que me gusta mucho que es el marigold (que es entre un naranja y un amarillo) y otros tonos de morado. El negro y el beige no podian faltar para dar realce a otros detalles.

Me esforcé en que cada uno de los empaques fuera completamente diferente al otro. Cuando trabajo haciendo packaging me gusta que sea totalmente personalizado. He descubierto que la gente ama recibir algo que fue pensado exactamente para ellos y por lo menos a mi me gusta recibir regalos que estén intervenidos a mano. Siento que es un detalle que la otra persona se haya tomado el tiempo de pensarlo y crearlo para mí.

Aunque no tenía mucha fe (tuve que confiar en el proceso), amé los resultados finales y hasta me dieron ganas de ofrecer ese tipo de empaques personalizados en mi emprendimiento. Las chicas que lo encargaron quedaron encantadas con el resultado y ya mañana espero ver las fotos de aquellos que lo reciban.

I am happy to be in this wonderful and creative community of Hive Arte. This time I want to show you how I intervened some packaging for Valentine's Day. These packages are for a dessert project: there are some boxes and other cookie holders.

I used acrylic paint to intervene them. I had been asked not to use only hearts, so I took advantage of the opportunity and painted spots and flowers. The color palette wasn't all pink either, I used shades of red, coral, peach, yellow and purple. I was a little afraid with flowers because it is not something I do often with paint. I confess that I loved the initial result of the flowers. I didn't use just one color, but with the brush I took several colors without mixing them and that resulted in mottled flowers, where each one is totally different from the other.

Once I painted the bases of all the boxes (let it dry overnight), I used acrylic paint markers to make details like borders, lines, leaves, lettering, doodles. I added details in shades of baby blue and turquoise, as well as another tone that I like a lot which is marigold (which is between an orange and a yellow) and other shades of purple. Black and beige could not be missing to enhance other details.

I made an effort to make each of the packages completely different from the other. When I work on packaging I like it to be totally personalized. I have found that people love to receive something that was thought exactly for them and at least I like to receive gifts that are handmade. I feel it's a nice touch that the other person took the time to think about it and create it for me.

Although I didn't have much faith (I had to trust the process), I loved the final results and even felt like offering that kind of personalized packaging in my business. The girls who ordered it were delighted with the result and I look forward to seeing the photos of those who receive it tomorrow.
