Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes algo que inicialmente iba a ser solo un ejercicio sencillo para desestresarse pero que luego fue tomando otro camino ☺️
Quería compartir con todos ustedes algún dibujo a líneas o con colores que fuera fácil de hacer para esos momentos en los que nos encontramos un poco tensos y queremos relajarnos pero a medida que iba trabajando me fui entusiasmando y al final quedó algo que me gustó mucho. Les muestro paso a paso como fui haciendo mi trabajo con acuarelas.
Vamos al paso a paso!!!
Primero fui dibujando en mi block algunas ideas sencillas, que fui elaborando teniendo en cuenta algunas figuras simétricas.
Luego, quedó un diceño como las pinturas de la India, que pensé hacer lo mas simple posible.
Y luego de terminar de marcar el dibujo me dispuse a ponerle color. Sin una idea previa. La cosa era ir disfrutando el proceso y dejarse llevar por la intuición.
Empecé por escoger el color amarillo, quizás por ser tan brillante y porque al ser un color claro, si lo dejo para luego se puede afectar por otros colores que use.
Luego fui haciendo con tonos claros algunas de las figuritas pequeñas que hice como pequeños retoños que salen del ojo y los detalles de los pétalos de la flor de loto.
Despues empecé a hacer las líneas del contorno de las formas con un tono amarillo que fue tornándose un poco mas naranja en la zona de las alas del pájaro, cerca del cuerpo del ave. Y con un color más cálido hice los adornos de las puntas de los dedos de la mano. Sin embargo a los dedos medios le hice las flores en un tono azul.
Como me fui entreteniendo cada vez más fui complejizando la cosa!! Me dejé llevar por el disfrute y con mucha calma fui rellenando espacio por espacio de las plumas del pájaro con un tono de azul muy lindo.
Así fue quedando a medida que avanzaba en el relleno de las plumas del ave.
Me gusta trabajar con detalles y a medida que iba avanzado en colorear las plumas, se fueron tornando negras para darle contraste al trabajo.
Poco a poco el pájaro terminó siendo negro, con destellos azules en el plumaje de las alas.
Fui cuidando dejar las lineas de contorno de las ramas y la flor del cuerpo del ave.
Y finalmente así quedó.
Siendo sincera lo que empezó siendo un ejercicio sencillo se fue complicando más en la elaboración pero sí cumplió mi objetivo. Haciendo este lindo trabajo me fui relajando tanto y me sentí tan entretenida y tan atenta a los pequeñísimos detalles que me salí del mundo para entrar en la tranquilidad de la creación.

From idea to paper: a creative journey with watercolors

Today I want to share with you something that was initially just going to be a simple exercise to de-stress, but then took a different path ☺️
I wanted to share with you all a line or color drawing that was easy to do for those moments when we feel a little tense and want to relax. As I worked, I got more excited, and in the end, it turned out something I really liked. I'll show you step by step how I did my work with watercolors.
Let's go step by step!!!
First, I drew some simple ideas on my notepad, which I developed with some symmetrical shapes in mind.
Then, there was a design like the paintings of India, which I thought would be as simple as possible.
And after I finished tracing the drawing, I set about coloring it. Without any prior plans. The idea was to enjoy the process and let my intuition guide me.
I started by choosing the color yellow, perhaps because it is so bright and because it is a light color, if I leave it for later it can be affected by other colors I use.
Then I used light tones to create some of the small figures I made, like little shoots coming out of the eye and the details of the lotus flower petals.
Then I began to draw the outlines of the shapes with a yellow tone, which gradually became a little more orange in the area of the bird's wings, near the bird's body. And with a warmer color, I made the decorations on the fingertips. However, I made the flowers for the middle fingers in a blue tone.
As I became more and more entertained, I made things more complex! I let myself get carried away with the enjoyment and very slowly filled in space after space of the bird's feathers with a very pretty shade of blue.
This is how it looked as I progressed in stuffing the bird's feathers.
I like working with details and as I progressed in coloring the feathers, they turned black to give contrast to the work.
Little by little, the bird became black, with blue highlights in the plumage of its wings. I took care to leave the contour lines of the branches and the flower on the bird's body.
And finally it was like this.
To be honest, what started out as a simple exercise became more complicated as it was completed, but it did accomplish my goal. While doing this beautiful project, I became so relaxed and felt so entertained and attentive to the smallest details that I stepped out of the world and entered into the tranquility of creation.

I love that kind of painting, I paint in much the same way, but I'm not as organized as you! You also seem to be a pattern hunter.
