Hace un tiempo, un largo tiempo, aproximadamente desde el año 2020 he estado haciendo ilustraciones para personalizar un mural, dicho mural se encuentra en mi habitación. Sí, esto es un proyecto personal.

For a while, a long time, approximately since 2020, I have been making illustrations to personalize a mural, said mural is in my room. Yes, this is a personal project.
Pero este proyecto me ha servido para ver atrás y saber cuantos pasos he dado hacia adelante y todo lo que he alcanzado. También para recordarme momentos felices o tristes o fechas importantes como mi cumpleaños.
Empezaré hablándoles un poco de algunos dibujos, los más destacados pues, son demasiados y probablemente si la audiencia lo pide en los comentarios, podría hacer segunda parte.
Unos de los primeros dibujos que hice para este proyecto fue el zorro.
But this project has helped me look back and know how many steps I have taken forward and everything I have achieved. Also to remind me of happy or sad moments or important dates like my birthday.

One of the first drawings I made for this project was the fox.
Como les mencioné en mi post anterior, amo mucho el principito de Antoine Saint Exupery y la mejor parte de esa historias la domesticación del zorro de hecho citaré una frase que me gusta mucho: "Los trigales no significan nada para mí y eso es triste. Pero tu tienes el cabello color de oro. Entonces, si me domésticas, será maravilloso, porque el trigo que es dorado, me hará recordarte. Y amaré el sonido del viento en el trigo..." esa es mi frase favorita de esa escena entre el zorro y el principito.
As I mentioned in my previous post, I really love Antoine Saint Exupery's Little Prince and the best part of that story is the domestication of the fox. In fact, I will quote a phrase that I really like: "The wheat fields mean nothing to me and that is sad. But you have hair the color of gold. So, if you tame me, it will be wonderful, because the wheat that is golden, will make me remember you. And I will love the sound of the wind in the wheat..." that is my favorite phrase from that scene between the fox and the little prince.
Bueno, para dar más detalles de esta ilustración, debo decirles que era mi incursión en los medios húmedos y solo usé palillos chinos, una hoja normal como base y colorantes vegetales ( materiales no tan convencionales para un acuarelista) pero quedó muy bien ademán que ya hace cuatro años y aún conserva sus colores muy bien.
Otra ilustración de los inicios de este mural son las bailarinas, de hecho son las primeras que pinté en acuarelas y sin colorantes sobre una base de 300gr.
Well, to give more details about this illustration, I must tell you that it was my foray into wet media and I only used Chinese chopsticks, a normal leaf as a base and vegetable dyes (not so conventional materials for a watercolorist) but it turned out very well as it already Four years ago and it still retains its colors very well.
Another illustration of the beginnings of this mural are the dancers, in fact they are the first ones I painted in watercolors and without dyes on a 300gr base.
Seguidas de esas tengo a un lobo que dibujé mucho antes de comenzar a pegar dibujos en el mural y fue en una hoja de cuaderno de líneas.
Following those I have a wolf that I drew long before I started gluing drawings on the mural and it was on a lined notebook page.
Y la mujer con la copa, sería otro de los primeros dibujos que hice para este proyecto.
And the woman with the cup would be another of the first drawings I made for this project.
Cuando no sabía que dibujar, cuando mi bloqueo creativo duraba períodos largos, yo me dedicaba a mezclar pinturas y colores sobre una hoja. Perdí algunos cuantos de estos, pero el que me quedó fue muy extravagante y atractivo para mis ojos.
When I didn't know what to draw, when my creative block lasted for long periods, I dedicated myself to mixing paints and colors on a sheet. I lost a few of these, but the one I had left was very extravagant and appealing to my eyes.
Entre todas estas ilustraciones, hay mariposa monarcas un héroe de la polinización y yo además de apreciar su trabajo les mantengo una superstición para mi "las mariposas son espíritus, o son el transporte de las almas a los bosques" es algo que siempre me gusta pensar cuando las veo o cuando las pinto.
Among all these illustrations, there is a monarch butterfly, a hero of pollination and in addition to appreciating his work, I maintain a superstition for me "butterflies are spirits, or they are the transport of souls to the forests" is something that I always like to think when I see them or when I paint them.
Bien, hasta aquí puedo hacer mi reporte de mi mural, espero poder hacer segunda parte, tercera y hasta otros post con información y significados acerca de mi mural porque cada día va en renovación y se multiplican las ilustraciones. También quiero acotar que estos son dibujos básicos que yo comenzaba a profundizar en mi camino como Ilustrador.
