Saludos queridos amigos de Hive! espero se encuentren de maravilla! el día de hoy me emociona mucho presentar nuevamente unos cuadros que pinté para ayudar al emprendimiento de una querida amiga, el año pasado tuve la oportunidad de hacer un par de cuadros(los cuales mostrare mas adelante) Esta vez pinte un par mas, pero estos dos son muy diferentes de lo que había realizado anteriormente y aunque al principio estaba algo insegura, estoy muy satisfecha con los resultados, les mostrare un poco del proceso y contare la experiencia, espero sea de su agrado.
Greetings dear friends of Hive! I hope you are doing great! today I am very excited to present again some paintings that I painted to help a dear friend, last year I had the opportunity to make a couple of paintings (which I will show later) This time I painted a couple more, but these two are very different from what I had done before and although at first I was a little insecure, I am very pleased with the results, I will show you a little of the process and tell the experience, I hope you like it.
En primer lugar mostrare lo primeros cuadros realizados por mi, ambos eran realista el primero que realice se trato de una especie de bodegón con una botella de vino vertiendo el vino en una copa de cristal, fue un reto pero estuve muy satisfecha de los resultados, el segundo y el que mas me agrado en cuanto a proceso y resultado fue una composición de flores rojas sobre un fondo en escala de grises lo cual hacia mucho mas vistosas las flores.
First I will show the first paintings made by me, both were realistic, the first one I made was a kind of still life with a bottle of wine pouring the wine into a crystal glass, it was a challenge but I was very satisfied with the results, the second and the one I liked the most in terms of process and result was a composition of red flowers on a background in grayscale which made the flowers much more colorful.
En esta segunda oportunidad cuando mi amiga me presento las referencias no me sentía capaz de llevarlo a cabo en un principio, se trataba de colores muy saturados y casi pigmentos puros, en ambos casos con pinceladas expresivas, ambos cuadros me parecían piezas muy bonitas pero tan alejadas de mi estilo propio de crear las mezclas de color y pintar con pinceles a fin de suavizar las texturas y aunque he intentado ser mas expresiva aun no lo domino a este nivel, ademas que tratar de hacer la pieza lo mas parecido posible a la referencia siempre me frena un poco, pero asumí este reto estoy muy feliz de los resultados.
In this second opportunity when my friend presented me with the references I did not feel able to carry it out at first, they were very saturated colors and almost pure pigments, in both cases with expressive brushstrokes, both paintings seemed to me very beautiful pieces but so far from my own style of creating color mixtures and painting with brushes in order to soften the textures and although I have tried to be more expressive I have not yet mastered it at this level, besides trying to make the piece as similar as possible to the reference always slows me down a little, but I took on this challenge and I am very happy with the results.
LEÓN
Comencé por el cuadro del león, como mencione las referencias fueron aportadas por mi amiga, tomadas del siguiente Pinterest pin usando una cuadricula copie el dibujo al lienzo el cual tiene unas dimensiones de 100x80 cm. esta fue la parte sencilla a continuación debía llenar este cuadro de color comencé por hacer un fondo de tonos degradado de amarillos y azul.
El siguiente paso fue pintar la cara del león, para lo cual use en su mayoría tonos cálidos como amarillos y naranjas, usando pinceladas cargadas de pintura hacia trazos rápidos y expresivos, para lograr el efecto deseado en este cuadro
I started with the lion painting, as I mentioned the references were provided by my friend, taken from the following Pinterest pin using a grid I copied the drawing to the canvas which has dimensions of 100x80 cm. this was the simple part next I had to fill this painting with color I started by making a background of yellow and blue gradient tones.
The next step was to paint the face of the lion, for which I used mostly warm tones such as yellows and oranges, using brushstrokes loaded with paint to fast and expressive strokes, to achieve the desired effect in this painting.
Luego fue el turno de la melena, pero mas tarde que temprano me di cuanta que para lograr el mayor parecido con la imagen de referencia debía usar una espátula para colocar las manchas de color y esto fue suficiente, pude generar los trazos de pintura mas expresivos y generar la textura visual que puede percibirse, la verdad una vez probé la espátula fue difícil volver a soltarla, es muy satisfactorio pintar con esta herramienta.
Then it was the turn of the mane, but sooner or later I realized that to achieve the best resemblance with the reference image I had to use a spatula to place the color spots and this was enough, I could generate the most expressive paint strokes and generate the visual texture that can be perceived, the truth once I tried the spatula it was difficult to release it again, it is very satisfying to paint with this tool.
CABALLO
Para este segundo cuadro el panorama estaba mucho mas claro, primero emplearía el pincel para pintar el fondo de la imagen el cual estuvo compuesto de azul intenso, blanco y un toque de rojo todos en pintura acrílica, y para le figura luego de una primera base de color usaría la espátula para detallar a este caballo.
For this second painting the panorama was much clearer, first I would use the brush to paint the background of the image which was composed of intense blue, white and a touch of red all in acrylic paint, and for the figure after a first base of color I would use the palette knife to detail this horse.
Las dimensiones de este segundo cuadro fueron de 80x120 y aunque tenia todo un poco mas claro eso no hizo mas fácil terminar este cuadro, tenia que prestar mucha atención a la referencia para colocar cada color en su lugar, pero pronto pude apreciar como poco a poco este cuadro iba dando bonitas formas y cada vez mas me encantaba como estaba luciendo este flamante caballo colorido.
The dimensions of this second painting were 80x120cm and although I had everything a little clearer that did not make it easier to finish this painting, I had to pay close attention to the reference to place each color in its place, but soon I could see how little by little this painting was giving beautiful shapes and more and more I loved how I was looking this brand new colorful horse.
En ambos cuadro ocupe aproximadamente cuatro días para su realización, el primer dia de dibujo y primera base de color y el siguiente día para mejorar perfeccionar ciertos detalles, ademas que pude darme cuenta lo importante que es trabaja por capas y dejar secar para este estilo, pues si bien la pintura acrílica seca con bastante facilidad esta vez estaba aplicando cantidades mas grandes y espesas de pintura por lo cual debía dejar secar entre capas.
In both paintings I spent approximately four days for its realization, the first day of drawing and first base color and the next day to improve and perfect certain details, plus I could realize how important it is to work in layers and let dry for this style, because although the acrylic paint dries quite easily this time I was applying larger and thicker amounts of paint so I had to let dry between layers.
Yo disfrute mucho haciendo estos cuadro sobre todo el segundo que a pesar de tener unos colores tan saturados puedo percibir mayor realismo en la imagen, espero que también haya sido del agrado de todos, espero pronto mostrar los nuevos trabajos que haré para mi amiga!

Excelentes trabajos Yetsi, se lo difícil que puede resultar mantener la pincelada expresiva o en el caso de la espátula no me imagino, sabes que yo también soy de las que sufre con la mancha 🙈. Te quedo espectacular para ser la primera vez. Abrazos 🤗

El reto que en todo caso es un gran aprendizaje de toda persona que desempeñe un arte es el de ponerse retos, solo así uno se vuelve bueno y con sacrificio llegas a ser excelente.

Todos los cuadro quedaron espectaculares. Los dos primeros son mis favoritos pero la técnica con espátulas también me encanta, aparte el arcoiris de colores hace que sean cuadros muy llamativos.
