En todo este tiempo que tenemos dando clases, siempre habíamos querido poder tener un grupo de adultos con los cuales compartir y probar nuevas técnicas y estrategias que quizás con niños no son tan fáciles de ejecutar. ¡Y por fin lo logramos!
Por fin se nos dio el momento justo para iniciar con un Club de Arte para adultos. Es por eso que hoy queremos contar en esta comunidad de artistas como nos fue en La primera reunión del Club.
Muy temprano me levante esa mañana, el día anterior había arreglado todos los materiales que iba a usar para la clase y salí junto a mi mamá de la casa rumbo al lugar donde estaría dictando la primera clase del Club de arte o, mejor dicho, nuestra primera reunión.
Cuando llegue al lugar ya estaban varias de las estudiantes esperando y no fue porque llegue tarde, más bien ellas por prevenir cualquier cosa se fueron más temprano. Entonces super rápido me puse manos a la obra a arreglar todos mis materiales para comenzar con las instrucciones.
Honestamente estaba muy nerviosa por como seria esa clase y también si vendrían las personas necesarias para hacer rentable este taller. Tomen en cuenta que, sacar un taller para adultos es un poco más complicado incluso que si fuera para niños y esto es por el factor tiempo.
Siendo adultos tenemos tiempo prácticamente para nada o el cansancio nos domina o simplemente somos apáticos con las cosas y la idea de salir de la casa. E incluso teniendo todas las ganas del mundo de querer hacer algo nuevo nuevamente es el tiempo el que se pone en contra.
Pero con susto y todo salimos adelante con la clase. Lo principal era darles a las participantes sus materiales para que comenzaran a relacionarse con las acuarelas y por su cuenta comenzaran a experimentar.
Tal y como hacemos movimientos para calentar nuestro cuerpo antes de alguna actividad física, también debemos calentar la muñeca antes de sentarnos a trabajar en el dibujo. Además, estos ejercicios ayudan a los participantes a familiarizarse con las características del material.
Todas las participantes estaban trabajando con acuarelas por primera vez por lo que era muy bonito cuando se sorprendían con lo que estaban logrando. En la acuarela es fundamental aprender a controlar el flujo de agua porque eso lo que nos da las distintas tonalidades.
Y después de los ejercicios, la echadera de cuento y tomarnos un café comenzamos a dibujar el trabajo final que sería un paisaje.
Este era el modelo del que nos estaríamos guiando. La dinámica con la que trabajamos es que yo voy dibujando y las participantes van siguiendo el paso a paso.
Para no hacer el cuento muy largo le dejo fotos del proceso de algunas de las participantes. Pasamos una mañana muy agradable, llena de muchas risas, historias y ganas de seguir con estas reuniones del Club de arte.

I got up very early that morning, the day before I had arranged all the materials I was going to use for the class and I left the house with my mom to the place where I would be teaching the first class of the Art Club, or rather, our first meeting.
When I arrived at the place several of the students were already waiting and it wasn't because I was late, it was because they left earlier to prevent anything. So I quickly got down to work to arrange all my materials to start with the instructions.
I was honestly very nervous about how this class would be and also if the necessary people would come to make this workshop profitable. Keep in mind that, taking a workshop for adults is a little more complicated than even if it were for children and this is because of the time factor.
As adults we have practically no time for anything, or tiredness takes over or we are simply apathetic about things and the idea of getting out of the house. And even having all the desire in the world to want to do something new again is the time that goes against us.
But with a scare and all, we went ahead with the class. The main thing was to give the participants their materials so that they could begin to interact with the watercolors and start experimenting on their own.
Just as we do movements to warm up our body before any physical activity, we should also warm up the wrist before sitting down to work on the drawing. In addition, these exercises help the participants to become familiar with the characteristics of the material.
All the participants were working with watercolors for the first time so it was very nice when they were surprised with what they were achieving. In watercolor it is fundamental to learn to control the flow of water because that is what gives us the different tonalities.
And after the exercises, the story telling and a cup of coffee we started to draw the final work which would be a landscape.
This was the model we would be using as a guide. The dynamic with which we work is that I draw and the participants follow the step by step.
To make a long story short, here are some pictures of the process of some of the participants. We spent a very pleasant morning, full of laughter, stories and the desire to continue with these Art Club meetings.
